Russian soldiers behave worse than pigs
“Abhorrent acts” — Russian forces have committed widespread sexual violence in Ukraine since the full-scale invasion, reports the UN
Russian forces are responsible for the majority of all sexual violence in Ukraine since the start of the full-scale war, announced the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in a report on September 18.
“I am deeply concerned about the spread of these abhorrent acts documented in our report, and fear that they almost certainly continue amid the relentless violence we witness every day in Ukraine.”
According to the report, 89% of the 1,004 verified cases of conflict-related sexual violence between February 2022 and July 2026 against civilians and prisoners of war (POWs) were attributed to Russian forces. 11% of the total verified cases were attributed to Ukrainian forces, with threats of sexual violence constituting almost half of these violations.
“Sexual violence is a serious feature of the full-scale armed attack on Ukraine. It must stop immediately, regardless of the perpetrators,” said Turk in a press release. “Given the high incidence of cases attributed to its forces, however, the Russian Federation in particular must take concrete and clear measures to protect civilians and prisoners of war from all forms of torture, including sexual violence.”
Unfortunately, there is little we can do about this other than to rejoice in the loss report.
Trump Jr, the apple that fell right under the apple tree
US President Donald Trump claimed yesterday that his son, Donald Trump Jr., told him he would repay the Russian businessman Umar Kremlev after he financed his wedding with hundreds of thousands of dollars.
“When I heard the story, I asked him, and he said: ‘I’m paying him back, dad,’ and that was a while ago,” Trump told reporters. “With all that said, I understand that Don has paid him back.” The money reportedly went, among other things, to renting a private island where guests stayed and a reception was held, as well as fireworks. At first they denied it, then admitted it and said that Kremlev was a close friend who hosted two party nights and dismissed any political motive. Now that their hands are practically stuck together after digging into Kremlev’s jam jar, they claim they will return the jam and hope that everything will be forgotten and forgiven. He has a father who is thoroughly corrupt, so Jr. thinking that even he, despite not being president, could get away with anything is perhaps not so surprising.
I would have preferred to write about the burning ozone layer and exploding refineries, waited a long time for some uplifting news but what can you do?

Comment:
89 localized attacks out of a total of 213 leaves 124 unlocalized, and thus the ratio is 124 / 89 ≈ 1.39.
Have a nice Saturday and SLAVA UKRAINI!

Again – I feel that Europe is now taking action.
Do you get the same feeling?
Yes, we are behind in drone warfare, interceptors, support to UA, politically confused in many countries, and behind in the financial war.
But..
Putin has made his biggest mistake – gradual escalation against us.
It seems that our politicians are able to handle it.
The Baltics, Poland, and Germany will take the fight if it goes that far.
We will have a tough autumn and winter but we are now underway
I also think there are glimmers of hope; not everything is cozy Friday night in BRIICS at all, nor in the USA.
The EU is politically stronger today than in 2008, and with UA on our side, we are militarily excellent.
Within a year, countries will have crashed; the only question is which ones. If the EU can just navigate this, the villains will have to take the hit, which they all deserve.
Well, MXT isn’t very political, mostly thought it was fun that Södertälje became a Moderate stronghold even though the outgoing municipal commissioner strongly believed that democracy was threatened.
Also following the entire opinion apparatus that has gone all-in on the Left Party mostly but also a bit on the Centre Party, it’s totally fascinating to see, exactly the same but with the talking points slightly changed.
Now, as you may have already guessed, I’m not 100% Left Party but I think Ida is completely right on the substance of what she says 😀
One thing that is also good is that everyone agrees that democracy has prevailed, so if Tidö manages to put something together, it will be quiet on social media for four years 👍
By the way, did the bands stay on Gotland or was it in and out?
Feeling a bit for Australia and NZ but they are too far geographically.
Apparently running out of fuel there now.
Anyone who understands the real deal about Greenland?
So, not what has been communicated?
With Canada on our side, it becomes much easier to have an umbrella over Greenland, Svalbard, and Iceland, so the US is not needed 😀
Besides, the Nordics have now joined together in some kind of northern air shield.
Russian trolls are all over social media saying that Europe should start a war with Russia followed by all possible angles.
A good indicator of what Russia is now discussing internally since they have been widely activated.
So the exact opposite language 😀
