Ukraine has attacked an oil depot, a ship, and the military industry – Russian losses

Ukraine has carried out several attacks on the city of Sochi, apparently with good results. The Ukrainian navy has, among other things, released a video showing a Russian ship on fire. Unfortunately, I have only found a link to FB: https://www.facebook.com/reel/978200261988356 but will post some other links later in the comments. Besides the ship, there were also several explosions near Russian air defense, Pantsir, which was located in the harbor. It is unclear if a hit was achieved. However, videos have been released on Russian Telegram showing an oil depot on fire. Read more here.

Ukrainian drones are also reported to have attacked Russian military industry overnight, a petrochemical plant located in Sterlitamak, Bashkortostan, more than 1,300 kilometers from Ukraine. The plant produces, among other things, aviation fuel. Local authorities have stated that there was a drone attack but did not comment on the results or what was hit. Ukraine has not yet officially commented on the attack.

Russian losses continue at the same high level, mostly artillery and soft vehicles (as usual), but nice to see four air defense systems and even eight special equipment units.

The 1654th day of the Russian Federation’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun.

In the past 24 hours, a total of 240 combat engagements were recorded.
Yesterday, the enemy conducted 100 airstrikes, during which 294 guided aerial bombs were dropped. Additionally, the attackers used 10,334 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,048 shellings against communities and our troops’ positions.

In the Sumy region, the communities of Korenok, Pysarivka, Bachivsk, Ulanove, and Sukhodil were subjected to hostile artillery fire. Additionally, the areas around Tovstodubove, Esman, Sadky, and Ivolzhanske were targeted by airstrikes.

In the past 24 hours, the defense forces’ air units, missile units, and artillery struck four areas with concentrations of enemy personnel, three artillery systems, three unmanned aerial vehicle command posts, and one command and observation post.

In the northern Slobozhansky and Kursk sectors, our defenders repelled an enemy assault attempt towards Bachivsk during the past day.

In the southern Slobozhansky sector, Ukrainian units repelled 22 enemy attacks. The attackers tried to advance in the areas around Kozacha Lopan, Lyman, Starytsia, and Vilcha, as well as towards Okhrimivka and Bochkove.

In the Kupyansk sector, the enemy attacked once towards Bohuslavka.

Attempts to break through our defense were repelled in the Lyman sector, where the occupiers conducted 11 attacks in the areas around Lyman and Dibrova, as well as towards Hrekivka, Kopanky, Novoiehorivka, Novoselivka, and Drobysheve.

In the Sloviansk sector, the enemy conducted ten assault attempts in the areas around Kalenyky and Ozerne, as well as towards Kryva Luka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy conducted no assault operations during the past day.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, 24 attacks were recorded. The attackers conducted assault operations in the areas around Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Mykolaipillia, and Raiske, as well as towards Novohryhorivka, Novopavlivka, and Pavlivka.

The highest number of assault attempts was recorded in the Pokrovsk sector, where our defenders stopped 38 attacks. The enemy was active in the areas around Bilytske, Serhiivka, Udachne, and Molodetske, and also conducted assaults towards Novyi Donbas, Svitlé, Vilne, Sofiivka, Toretske, Pryiut, Shevchenko, Dobropillia, Novohrishyne, and Novopavlivka.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, the attackers conducted two attacks towards the communities of Rybne and Yehorivka.

In the Huljajpole sector, the occupiers attacked seven times towards Vozdvyzhivka.

In the Orikhiv sector, our defenders stopped three enemy attempts to advance in the areas around Orikhiv and Prymorske.

In the Prydniprovsk sector, the enemy conducted no assault operations during the past day.

In the Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs have been detected that the enemy is forming offensive force groupings.

The Ukrainian defenders continue the systematic fight against the enemy and effectively resist on all front sectors.

In total, the Russian attackers’ losses during the past day amounted to 1,440 personnel. Additionally, one tank, eight armored fighting vehicles, 77 artillery systems, three multiple launch rocket systems, four air defense systems, 13 ground-based missile systems, 1,890 unmanned aerial vehicles, 492 vehicles, and eight units of special equipment were neutralized.

    Nice lottery line as usual. Unfortunately, I’m starting to lose hope that it affects ryz. They seem to be able to absorb any amount of damage. Of course, there is a breaking point, but it should have been reached already at 1,000,000. Now the next number magic is 1,500,000, hopefully it will have an effect there.

      Yes, it is strange how much punishment they are willing to take. I remember the autumn of 2022 when the numbers rose to around 700/day I believe, and one thought that such losses are not sustainable in the long run.

      Maybe they aren’t either, but the question is what time frame is needed.

      Afraid that when it comes solely to the availability of manpower, they can probably hold out for another four to five years.
      Now that the economy is starting to deteriorate in Russia, soon the shortage of labor will not be a problem either.

      Yes, it’s tough. UA doesn’t really have the resources to advance. But they do incredibly well defensively with the existing resources. Plus processing of the Russian rear lines. But any Azov offensive is out of the question until RU seriously falters. Which could happen any day.

      Yes, I agree, the large American turnout at the NATO exercise around Kaliningrad was not quite consistent with Trump’s rhetoric over the past year, and even that he sent a fairly intelligent and experienced person to Moscow to speak plainly with the Russians is surprising.

      It must be someone who has managed to persuade Trump to do the right thing, or in some way been able to do things the right way and then tell Trump so he could take the credit. It seems a bit like Trump is starting to lose his grip.
