It probably actually works fine with half the lighting and the drink cooler turned off, then you can probably squeeze more into other coolers and turn off more. They had also lowered the indoor temperature by four degrees.
Actually, you should probably turn off the heating completely so people shop with gloves during the cold season and save on all the cooling and have it a bit warmer by the fruit counters and other sensitive areas?
Wonder if they’re starting to experiment with the highest possible temperature for frozen goods too, maybe it doesn’t need to be -18 for things sold within X weeks?

Read that an ICA store in electricity area 4 has turned off 50% of the fluorescent lights so it feels a bit like the walking dead to shop there and has unplugged the drink coolers. Then according to earlier reports, some electricity-intensive industries are shutting down due to the electricity price and that tomato growers have stopped growing tomatoes.
-from my non-economic seat in the stands, I think it’s starting to look pretty bad, companies are being forced into bankruptcy with a high electricity price.
-then as a private person with too large windows, when will that electricity support come, need it.
