The only ones who haven’t understood that this isn’t over yet are actually the Russians.
Russian units live in an information vacuum so they can’t coordinate, but still they are increasingly refusing to fight, area by area. The winter probably wasn’t so fun, ammunition shortages, hunger, blocking battalions, and certain death are clearly being questioned in some places.

Right now my Twitter feed is completely flooded with wing grenades against Russians in trenches. You have to give them credit for adapting to the situation as best they can, but they try to cover the trenches with whatever is available in the terrain, not prepared materials like large tarps or camouflage nets – that’s not enough.
They are completely defenseless and many videos are just murders, but they can also choose to leave Ukraine. The Stuka effect is running 24/7 and Russians in trenches now sleep with both eyes open.
Yesterday we got info from a living star in the thread that an artillery battery initially had 8 Orlan drones, some broke and they got a few more – fewer and fewer.

Now the Russians have given up at Vuhledar, the southern front never got going, what has happened in northern Luhansk is what I’m most curious about (a swarm of ground hornets?), in Bakhmut they are abandoning Wagner and instead putting everything into the metropolis and the war-deciding Avdiivka…

My impression is that Russia does not have front-line workshops and not as well-developed workshops as Ukraine and all of Eastern Europe, so many of their vehicles have either been left behind in rear areas or in large depot areas down in Crimea, Rostov-on-Don, Donbass and Belgorod.
You understand how many vehicles Ukraine will have going forward when they roll into these depots down in Crimea and the darkest Donbass.
I also don’t think Abrams are needed and the US has a delivery just as a threat but preferably they want the war to be over – that’s what I think.
I have believed since last spring that we are being fooled by the fact that Russian BTGs are going towards zero and that UA is conserving lives and I still believe that.
Now the Russian spring offensive is dangled in front of us as an existential threat but it can only be more of the same but with fewer numbers and T55s.
Ukraine holds firmly to the baton and when they decide to go on the offensive they do it, trust the plan (TM Qanon).

-The economic damage we won’t fully understand for a good while, the country is completely crashed.
-Visa problems and general Russophobia.
-The president himself is a wanted fugitive.
Russia should soon turn inward in my opinion but maybe they need to get it really rubbed in their face first and that’s what UA has been preparing for since last fall and what they are now setting the starting blocks for.
It’s a geopolitical atomic bomb and I wonder how fun the Russian elite think this is?

China and Russia are not good friends and if we can see that it’s a dysfunctional relationship with only one winner, the Russian elite can also see that.
Then I wonder how the Chinese feel about standing on the same side as Russia IF there are sanctions – many will probably think it unnecessary.
Russia is not invited to the next summit China is having with everyone – everywhere. Speaks volumes in my opinion.
