I find the question of life on other planets in the universe, to be or not to be, interesting for the reason that there are two distinct sides – we are alone in the universe or there is intelligent life, with very little in between.
I’m probably not as old as some who have been around longer, but we have experienced some milestones, right?
-water on other planets, and that is what researchers say is an important ingredient for life.
-the number of planets that could have life under the right circumstances went from 0 to many thousands (if not more) just in our galaxy when better technology became available.
Personally, I think the probability that there is intelligent life in the universe should be 1 with what we know today.
I also think that we rewrite our own history as they dig up a new skeleton of something or find some buried ruins, so everything is the best guess with the information one has, right?
