09:38 – Johan No.1

Yesterday most of what I intended to bring up came up, so that will be for my own archive, but I have an exclusive about Dengamle left 😀

A little flashback – do you remember when we said in the thread that JEF would play a major role in defending our eastern border if UA does not join NATO. We might not have been completely wrong 👍

There is movement across broad layers in Russia against mobilization and the war – we have long said that Russia cannot mobilize and so far we have been right, already in the winter of 2023 we said so in the thread.
https://twitter.com/citeam_en/status/1729455212836876349?s=46&t=EPU594BcRwAesuGNxa8e-g

We wrote yesterday that Dengamle is responsible for all the pre-battle hype with the marine corps and that he has a unique talent to motivate which Budanov very well understands wins the war for them.
One of the first occasions when Dengamle was thrown right into the pulse of history was when the village lined up in fylking with the neighboring village during the early Iron Age.

If you remember the story, Dengamle sneaked away and mounted the horse to spear an apple he could now quietly steal from the neighbor, but the horse bolted straight through the home village’s crooked fylking and the spear with the red apple on went straight through the neighboring chieftain with immediate death. The bravest warriors of the neighboring village stood open-mouthed over this enormously advanced battle tactic and left the battlefield (or the small forest clearing) trotting away while trying to look threatening and the village then had eternal peace until it became a larger community now called Tranås.

When the home village hoisted him up and down, he was at first terrified and thought he would be lynched because they realized he had sneaked away from the group fight for apple theft but quickly composed himself and declared that he had invented the cavalry and the lance for the good of the village as they meant everything to him. The red pennant then lived on with the cuirassiers until the 1800s.

That was not the point but that after this mishap he began to enjoy respect as a great leader without having either interest or qualifications for it but since it came with various benefits he quickly accepted his fate and tried his way forward to what today wins the war for Ukraine.

He quickly learned what was expected of him and has quietly led some of history’s greatest to victory through his unique ability to be both a boss and a leader.
In the beginning it was a bit shaky, when the 300 Spartans fought their last battle against Xerxes, Dengamle was seriously worried by the sight of two hundred thousand charging Persians and shouted “this is where they fight, this is where we die” and wanted to sneak up into the mountains but it was heard the other way around and made the legendary Spartans fight to the second last man as the greatest of history’s heroes.

He is definitely behind the rebel yell even though historians still dispute exactly how it originated. It took quite a while before he got it to sound bloodcurdling in his company, in the first battles the northern statesmen writhed on the ground in fits of laughter but then he discovered that starting off-beat was the missing link.

Another example is “Curahee” which was actually a drawn-out “hell-etee” when he stepped on a sharp branch during an exercise with the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment and it quickly became their official motto.

Hopefully he will be back soon and can tell his stories himself, I am doing well freely from memory. Some concern when he sat curled up wrapped in camouflage netting and staring blankly into the camera with the latest image intensifier but he has gotten through dry spells before even if there usually are some protests. The gangster war in Chicago during prohibition for example became quite violent.

At the border with Belarus and the northern front, Ukraine has reasonably now mined something similar to what Russia mined at the southern front.
It doesn’t go fast but it makes Russian offensives there impossible forever.
The only way out of this war is for Ukraine to also retake northern Luhansk and the darkest Donbass and mine all the way down to Azov.

Impossible to mine that much, say of course the pessimists immediately in an acute attack of pessimism but UA has already mined maybe 65%-70% of the 1991 borders and made them impenetrable.
That is the last arc eastward that now needs to be retaken and mined up.

So it will be if all else is equal and the West has to pay for Ukraine having a sufficiently large defense force to maintain its territorial integrity going forward.
Then there are many contingencies, that Belarus gets its popular revolution, that UA steals Rostov na Don, that they liberate the northern oblasts and a lot more on the bubble list but if we stick to the battle plan this is how it must play out.
Then the war is over.
Actually don’t know if there are any obvious Golan Heights but there probably are.

At the Dnieper, Ukraine continues to press and it is going very well, the existing Russian defense cannot hold.
We see many videos of UA equipped for winter warfare and just as many complaint videos of wet and exhausted Russian units who have not eaten for days.
Here is a first-hand source that RU captives have zero winter equipment.
https://twitter.com/ihatetrenches/status/1729598858211049893?s=46&t=r0FUTqPR17NF-Jd-mmFczQ

Winter clothes are not everything military, civilian clothes work just fine and the whole West is helping.
The Russian soldiers who have nothing also have no money and if you were mobilized in the spring or during the summer, the priority was probably not to bring winter clothes, it was a few bottles of cheap vodka instead.
If it had been the other way around we would have seen the opposite, right?

Remember at the time of Popasna and Severodonetsk, there were many videos of the home guard who had been too affected so that they, in lack of other units, had to be deployed to plug holes in the active front.
This is NOT going well for the Russians right now and they know it.
This soldier reports home that his regiment took 1000 losses in 10 days.

We continue to keep an eye on strategic reserves at the Dnieper and southern front but so far nothing that I have found except that one lonely tweet about columns through Mariupol with new markings.

The first frostbite injuries have been filmed, a Russian who surrendered and where amputation is probably necessary, looks a bit like Amundsen’s North Pole expedition.

It is starting to be time to see the Russians largely as the same victims as the Ukrainians. Many videos now of Russian war invalids who are treated terribly and the soldier’s wives and mothers are being persuaded to lose heart. This should start to reach broad layers in the country Russia now and is something that absolutely should be encouraged and not demonized or mocked. The citizens of the country Russia are after all oppressed and not least the minorities are treated extremely badly. The country is run by a criminal clan that does as they please.
The world has a unique ability not to care but if the country Russia could be divided into natural parts that get to rule their own lives far fewer would suffer under the oppression from the central government.
The smaller Russia becomes the better is my opinion.
This one is as tragic as the invalid without hands who did not get any support because fingerprints were required.
A war hero without legs from the 810th marine infantry comes home and is celebrated in the city – seven showed up 😐
https://twitter.com/secretsqrl123/status/1729518276181414195?s=46&t=EPU594BcRwAesuGNxa8e-g

Now we do know why Ukraine bothers to treat the prisoners so well – they are building up the rebel army that will liberate the country Russia in the future, and that’s not a bad idea.
The criminal clan that rules the country Russia steals all the money for their own rockstar lifestyle while the country at large lacks decent infrastructure and things we see as obvious.
The countries that broke free from oppression in 1989 have done somewhat better for the most part, so why not run another race?

Unfortunately, Russia has not given up yet, Venezuela wants to take an area from Guyana and believes now is the time, there was a military coup in Sierra Leone, and in Niger they have decided to do the most important thing they could think of – motivate refugees to pass through their territory on the way to Europe. France has previously gotten them to prevent this.

No point pretending, right – it’s all Russia pulling the strings, or maybe not Sierra Leone, I need to read up on that, but Niger’s important decision for the country and Venezuela’s imperial ambitions definitely are.

As is well known, an incredible amount has happened in 1.5 months, first the left was activated and now the right is activated.
Then yesterday we had Budanov’s wife and a bunch from the GRU who were poisoned.
https://twitter.com/andysch64494719/status/1729412960236278234?s=46&t=EPU594BcRwAesuGNxa8e-g

RU has gone into supersonic speed with many things they hadn’t done earlier in the war, which is a big shift – my money is on them starting to realize they are doomed in Ukraine and escalating through all channels hoping for the best.

Not entirely surprising, Matteo Salvini is pro-Russian… The pieces are falling into place one by one.
https://twitter.com/reshetz/status/1729166514756976863?s=46&t=EPU594BcRwAesuGNxa8e-g

It is now quite clear to me that RU is preparing a retreat from the Dnieper to a “middle line” which they are now fortifying with the 104th AAD.
First came Teplinsky, then rumors, then a line on the map, and now we have the 104th AAD defending along this line as well as hysterical complaining from the units over by the Dnieper.
https://x.com/FriaUkraina/status/1729478785009910211?s=20

Hysterical complaining Russian,
https://twitter.com/reevesity/status/1729419629846573487?s=46&t=EPU594BcRwAesuGNxa8e-g

Then Friaukraina also writes that there are 60,000 barbarians at the Dnieper, earlier someone wrote 100,000 but we in the thread, not least Erik14, believe it is around 20,000 there, at least under 30,000.
David D is somewhat on the same track, that the brigades at the Dnieper are very heavily decimated.
I seriously start to wonder if those claiming 100,000 are going by the number of brigades and assuming they are full strength – that is a bigger mistake than a beginner’s mistake.

We who try to follow the units know that many are heavily decimated down to 80% losses or more.

The thought we’ve had is that if they were 100,000 fully resourced, there wouldn’t be any bridgehead today.

A general died, it will sting to wage a surprise war,

The EW protection on Crimea took a huge hit so some openings for drone swarms again.

Apparently a CRG in the Persian Gulf, some concern about knocked-out CRG was better when they were in the Mediterranean.

We’ll finish with the fact that now Scholz has also come out strongly denying foul play to get Ukraine to give up land – the USA, Germany, and Ukraine have all denied Bild’s scoop – the question then is where Bild got its information from…
Ukraine will never give up this, that much is becoming clear.
https://twitter.com/glasnostgone/status/1729446683044384798?s=46&t=EPU594BcRwAesuGNxa8e-g

Don’t know but this feels like positive-positive, right?

Always fun to hear about DENGAMLES’ exploits!! 👍

Good that both Germany and the USA have denied it. We’ll see how it goes with the USA’s support for Ukraine. It should be resolved within a few weeks, the question is at what level it will end up. Jake Bore speculates that it might not be more than 7 billion for next year.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2xfooXw1D2w In that case, it’s up to us in Europe to take a significantly greater responsibility.

There have been quite a few deliveries announced lately and as long as that continues I am convinced Ukraine will win, the only question is when.

Looking at the Google map,
https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mid=180u1IkUjtjpdJWnIC0AxTKSiqK4G6Pez&ll=46.61298715481506%2C32.86901132722342&z=10

and just counting all the Russian regiments etc., it is incomprehensible that Ukraine can even have any presence on the left side.

The Russians must simply be heavily reduced and surely also lack equipment (and competence in the form of experienced command). Even if they were as few as 20k, they should have been able to keep the AFU at bay from the start if there was any quality in those units..

If it is true that they are creating that middle line, and that they will retreat to it, it is a real victory for the AFU.

A train that has left the station is that the West’s leaders have managed their trust in the best way and always only done what was best for the country and the broad masses. Now they fell for various loudly shouting special interests and we are where we are with discontent that is easy to capitalize on.

I think the media should be quicker to debunk obvious psyops. They managed to get the large masses to understand that the Quran burnings were a Russian influence operation.

It’s just to keep exposing and hammering in the message until everyone absorbs the information.

My Twitter feed is now flooded with all that I don’t want to see, I ignore and block everything I can but it continues.
Of course, it is difficult for many who get their daily dose of news from FB, Twitter, and a few other services.
Posting a clarification on the MSB website reaches absolutely no one.

If media’s motto is to report the truth, they should at least make an effort.

Well written by the way 👍

Yep, big win because then artillery and armor will move over and the defense is prepared in haste.

Yes, soon he will have to tell about his escapades again 😀
