Well, as an electricity consumer, one has noticed that the electricity price has dropped sharply compared to last year.

Have also read that there is a major investment in nuclear power across Europe, “tens” is probably a bit much to take in but many new reactors are being built and are planned to be built.

Is there reason to believe that electricity prices will remain low going forward, asking for a friend 😀
The permit process for the district heating excavation is taking its time, so I’m looking at alternatives, but if the electricity price plummets, the benefit of other solutions becomes smaller even if they are fun.

However, I use district heating every day all week, 37 öre per kWh with no additional cost and they increased it by about 3 öre for 2024. Then it’s just the grid fee and electricity tax on the roughly 5000 kWh/year for household electricity, so a huge saving. I haven’t understood if the grid fee has a sky-high fixed cost anyway that you can’t avoid, but I guess you’ll find out, though the tax is per kWh 😀
