The smartest thing with Kamala would be for her to become president for 4 months so she is seen as much as possible. Yes, she still has to be nominated and we can only hope that D has order in the ranks but the more exposure she gets as president the higher the probability that she wins the election.
She doesn’t seem to be far behind Biden, but Trump is ahead of both by a few %.
Then the real question is what she will do for Ukraine – not much is my guess because the US has turned inward politically now. To hope that she will become a white knight for Ukraine tomorrow I think is naive, D is fully occupied trying to survive.
Then apparently I was not the only one who was not satisfied with Biden, there was a whole bunch in the thread who explained to those of us who didn’t know that Biden was the right man for the job and had a high probability of winning. But D themselves did not think so.
Then I think that since Harris has been VP, GOP has already done its job and don’t forget that all of Russia’s subversive activities stand behind Trump. They started directly to mark Harris closely I saw on Twitter. Twitter has influence and is above all rigged in Trump’s favor.
So in hindsight it is not unreasonable to speculate that Elon’s purchase of Twitter had the purpose of being able to control the platform for election influence for the 2024 election.

GOP has already started talking about an unconstitutional coup in D so what is the purpose of Kamala now being nominated as D’s presidential candidate instead of going through the nomination process in August?

Do you think there will be an internal fight in D over the vacancy or do candidates not want to be branded with a loss against Trump?
Or do they already have this settled, presumably the candidate should already be considered and Biden will come out this week and recommend Mr/Mrs X?
