The other day I thought the EU should give Trump 50 billion euros in some kind of poorly disguised gift in exchange for the 1991 borders and that was met with lukewarm responses.
Today’s proposal – can’t Ukraine start renaming streets after Trump, build monuments, give him a hotel chain, let him rebuild the country or whatever in exchange for the 1991 borders?

Yes 😀

Have a bit too much going on right now but next week it will calm down again so I can start masking with work again and then there will be time for posts.
By the way, I like a lot of tweets from Biden right now where he congratulates everyone, praises everyone, and calls for a smooth transition and so on. A slight difference from 2020 when a certain president screamed about a coup 🤣
The problem is that everything is always forgotten within 10 years but this election clearly showed what the voters wanted and that fraud did not have enough impact but it was enough even if some start pushing certain lines, but it won’t take root unless Biden or Harris try to do a Trump 2020, which they are clear they are not trying to do – responsible communication, simply.

In summary, the conclusion is probably that the integrity of democracy was maintained but yes, had Trump lost he definitely would not have been a good loser, we can probably assume that, and also that there were advanced plans to cause as much trouble as possible just to be spiteful.
There seems to be great concern for Germany among everyone but I have to remind that the problem is Scholz and until he is out there will be no change at all so that old tooth simply has to be pulled out.
The rumor is that Scholz fired the finance minister because he wanted to send Taurus – Olaf Scholz is thus willing to take a no-confidence vote instead of sending Taurus, think about that (if you are to believe the rumor which seems to be from the finance minister himself) 🧐
After Scholz has been fired, or resigned, or whatever happens now, we have to keep an eye on where he goes and then we will know if he chose to follow Biden or Putin, or both because they pulled in the same direction on certain issues like long-range strikes and target elimination in Russia. For this effort to constantly torpedo Ukraine for 2.5 years he will get a hefty reward from whoever he has communicated with.
The opposition leader seems to be a real breath of fresh air.

It is possibly that we have Trump’s offer for UA – this is just a rumor but if one is to guess it could be correctly reported. Trump has indeed aired exactly this before so straight from the horse’s mouth is absolutely applicable in this context, JD Vance has also said the same.
I would see this as a first proposal and thereafter Trump will also have a reality to relate to whether he wants to or not 😀

After the election when the shock had settled and everyone who wanted to cut their hair or declare 4B had done so, Macron was the first out with very harsh words against Russia.
Macron is one of the big players and now he has woken up from the Putin-created chaos he got after he had the audacity to make harsh statements in January 2024.
He has already tried to work on Trump
https://bsky.app/profile/maks23.bsky.social/post/3lahpug7pd62c
The thread is rather lukewarm to my attempts to highlight Macron but it IS Macron who has taken the lead in criticizing Putin and has already started working on Trump – Scholz is rambling about negotiations and peace in our time, Starmer is silent and Meloni has completely fallen off.
Refuse to call this a “Trump effect” because I rather think it had to do with the election itself that people held back a bit earlier even though the Trump side tries to link absolutely everything that happens to Trump himself.
By the way, interesting that Putin’s or Iran’s missile rain just before the election did not happen – why do you think that is?
If Macron can just get Starmer and Peloni on board and Germany changes course this is on solid ground. I have shown several times with hard numbers that the EU on its own could completely crush the criminal clan Russia if we just make the decisions.
France is a military power, Italy has (had) surplus equipment in huge quantities and Germany’s armaments industry is slowly starting up. Italy also has a solid arms industry and so does the UK.
The manufacturer of Taurus has after all announced that they can produce large quantities of missiles in a short time and Storm Shadow is probably being newly produced as well?
It is only a political deadlock that has given us this desert march, not that no equipment exists as some try to spin it.
But some skepticism remains – we are now at the stage where in WORDS one might possibly start discussing the right measures but it must be accompanied by ACTION. And action must be an accelerated program so that you don’t risk just having gotten organized and then Ukraine collapses 😀
Then Ukraine can join JEF which will be like a defense alliance – “someone” (me, me, me) foresaw this quite early when it became clear that Ukraine could not join NATO according to current statutes.
A loose thought about Trump and that thing about “kompromat” that Putin has on him or financial incentives. When I tried to air that the EU should bribe Trump with 50 billion EUR like with Orban many wrote that now Trump owns the world and would think that was petty.
Trump has also managed to slip out of a pretty serious legal process, blamed everything on “fake news” and was elected US president in a somewhat fair election.
Does anyone believe that Trump is afraid of Putin’s kompromat or that he is worried about losing financial support from Putin?
What I want to say is that Trump has partly already survived “kompromat” and is immune to it and that if he didn’t need 50 billion euros from the EU according to many in the thread – why would he then need Putin’s money?
My question then is – if you try to look at this without blinders or rose-colored glasses, how CONTROLLED do you think he is by Putin?
Then he can very well voluntarily choose to meet Putin halfway because he likes him as a person or sees Russia positively but that is not the question we should address now.
My latest offer – give Trump all the business deals he wants in Ukraine based on the 1991 borders 😀
Erect statues and name all squares “Donald Trump Square”. Somewhere there will be an offer he finds irresistible.
Then there were surprisingly few positive comments on last week’s Friday Drunkenness and many more negative ones, some who donated in pure protest which perhaps served a purpose but some who thought the hysterically funny videos should be removed so the thread will have to manage without Friday Drunkenness from now on. It takes quite a bit of time to find fun videos and then you spend time writing in the thread when you could be doing other things and if the response is negative, it’s obviously pointless. It was more fun in the thread in the past, we have to live with the memory of the glory days when you barely managed to find the right key on the keyboard 😀
There will just be one video today to honor the discontinued Friday Drunkenness, yes you’ve always wondered and now you know – it’s possible to wake a rooster too as long as you’re early.

Then Don Hill’s latest is out which is actually worth reading.

I will return tomorrow with an update on the front lines – no improvement and as I have said many times, the clock is ticking for the EU to start supporting Ukraine in action here. The anticlimax of the millennium would be if the EU gets organized just as Ukraine collapses but we are not there yet.

Couldn’t help but laugh. Look at his nose! 🤡

You probably have to zoom in properly.

By the way, Melania is missing from that picture.
11:36 – Johan No.1
You have to handle Trump in the way that works, I think, and somewhere there is something that will appeal to him. Maybe we’re not there yet but it’s coming 😀
Yes, it’s probably not completely mainstream that the first thing you think about is the size of the bribe but in war everything is allowed and if it costs a Nobel Peace Prize and a few squares in Kiev change their name to Donald J Trump Square, maybe it’s worth it?

Gregg wrote that the PBV302 is making a success up in Kursk which is fun – our tax money is invading Russia which is excellent.
But…
Doesn’t that mean they are a bit short if the vehicles have been on trains the past months and are already in combat?

The thing about Elon Musk is interesting because I saw this picture.

Looks to me like he is in the family photo and of all the Trumps to bring to a conversation with Zelensky – Elon Musk?
