Zelensky made a statement yesterday where he stated that Russia has sent about 800 Russian jet-powered drones against Ukraine and the attacks have since continued and are now in their fifth day. Russia has implemented a tactical change and is now also attacking Kyiv with drones during daytime, which has led to constant readiness with continuous air raid alarms. Zelensky also mentioned that both homes, businesses, and other civilian infrastructure have been affected by the attacks.

The Democratic Senator Richard Blumenthal has urged the House of Representatives to quickly approve the proposal for expanded sanctions against Russia as work in the House resumes after the summer. He said, among other things, “This is a moment of extreme urgency, because (Russia’s President Vladimir) Putin may try to escalate.” We will see what comes of that. It has been proposed for a long time now.

Mediazona together with the BBC have reported their latest statistics on confirmed dead Russian soldiers, which now amount to 242,747.

Glory to Ukraine!
The 1650th day of the Russian Federation’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun.
During the last 24 hours, a total of 225 combat contacts were recorded.

Yesterday, the enemy carried out 91 air strikes, during which 288 guided aerial bombs were dropped. In addition, the attackers used 11,517 kamikaze drones and conducted 2,966 shellings against communities and our troops’ positions, of which 38 were with rocket artillery.

Hostile artillery shelling affected, among others, the communities of Tovstodubove, Bachivsk, Bezsalivka, Korenok, Ulanove, Hirky, Iskryskivshchyna, Yastrubshchyna, Neskuchne, Ryzhivka, Kozache, Sopych, Seredyna-Buda, Kucherivka, Mala Slobidka, Volfyne, Radionivka, Romashkove, and Nova Sich in the Sumy region, as well as Berylivka in the Chernihiv region. Yastrubshchyna and Vilna Sloboda were also subjected to air strikes.

During the last 24 hours, the defense forces’ aviation, missile units, and artillery hit two areas with concentrations of enemy personnel, six command posts for unmanned aerial vehicles, six artillery pieces and artillery positions, one command post, and five other important targets belonging to the occupiers.

On the northern Slobozhansky and Kursk sectors, two enemy assault attempts were recorded during the last 24 hours. The attacker carried out 49 shellings against our troops’ positions and communities.

On the southern Slobozhansky sector, Ukrainian units repelled three enemy attacks. The attackers tried to advance towards the communities of Vovchanski Khutory, Volokhivka, and Rybalchyne.

On the Kupyansk sector, the enemy attacked five times towards Dovhenke, Radkivka, and Kupyansk.

Attempts to break into our defense were repelled on the Lyman sector, where the occupiers carried out 15 attacks towards Lyman and in the areas around Hrekivka, Novoselivka, Stavky, Dibrova, and Novoiehorivka.

On the Slovyansk sector, the enemy carried out eight assault attempts in the areas around Kryva Luka, Dibrova, Zakitne, Mykolaivka, and Riznykivka.

On the Kramatorsk sector, the Russian attackers conducted an offensive operation towards Fedorivka.

On the Kostyantynivka sector, 23 attacks were recorded. The attackers conducted assault operations in the areas around Kostyantynivka, Illinivka, Novoselivka, Pavlivka, Stepanivka, Raiske, Vilne, and Kucheriv Yar.

On the Pokrovsk sector, the enemy carried out 36 attacks. The occupiers tried to advance towards the communities of Novyi Donbas, Hulive, Molodetske, Novopavlivka, Horikhove, Bilytske, Dobropillia, Novohrishyne, Myrne, and Serhiivka, as well as in the areas around Novomykolaivka, Muravka, Novopidhorodnie, and Udachne.

On the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy carried out an attack in the area around Ternove.

On the Huljajpole sector, the occupiers attacked our defenders’ positions 11 times. The enemy tried to advance towards the communities of Vozdvyzhivka, Rizdvianka, Rivne, and Charivne.

On the Orikhiv sector, our defenders stopped four enemy attempts to advance in the areas around Mala Tokmachka and Shcherbaky as well as towards Orikhiv.

On the Prydniprovsk sector, the enemy tried to improve their positions on one occasion.

On the Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs have been detected that the enemy is forming offensive force groupings.

In total, the Russian attackers’ losses during the last 24 hours amounted to 1,600 personnel. In addition, five tanks, seven armored fighting vehicles, 50 artillery systems, seven rocket artillery systems, three air defense systems, seven ground-based missile systems, 2,055 unmanned aerial vehicles, 467 vehicles, and seven units of special equipment were neutralized.

      Well, the war picked up again, maybe the USA has become like Russia so they bomb as they manage to produce missiles. Now it was probably Iran that had prepared to send mine-laying missiles that the USA wanted to remove, so that was understandable in a way.

      China probably needs to support its economy, and gladly does so at the expense of the USA. Now I’m not sure how it works, but they probably want to take advantage before the dollar falls further, the one who sells first wins the most. Let’s see if someone else follows.

      I think it’s about response time.

      If they had been prepared, they could have funneled them back as they came ashore, using their own momentum to turn them back. The non-urgent humanitarian part they would have had to handle in Morocco. Surely there is some legal provision they would have violated, but since the group entered illegally, they could have, for example, denied and said it doesn’t count if they haven’t been in the country for more than about 6 hours.

      Now the reaction was too little too late, and it will be harder since they have been able to hide and the deportations will have to follow the “normal” procedure.

        Yes, there is just more and more of that now. The raff and the fuel crisis are behind a lot, but when complaints also start about the war as such, it begins to get interesting. 

        It can go both ways, maybe they will dare to engage in open protests in the end, or we will see even tougher measures with lots of arrests, etc.

According to information received by the channel, France will also offer cruise missiles.     One should probably not confuse the Russian economic collapse with a Russian state collapse or the oligarchs removing Putin.

    They now have the chance of the century to buy up all the struggling companies, end the war, and acquire generational wealth.

    The hope lies with the army, which unfortunately is even worse than Putin when it comes to adopting criminal methods, but maybe that will be exactly what sets the ball rolling?

    Then the citizens, and not necessarily in Moscow first but in the republics that were already somewhat disgruntled with the central government.

    Ukraine will fuel everything to the maximum.

    Belarus is also well positioned; they are just waiting for the right moment.

    It will happen suddenly, we know that, and it will be violent, then the dominoes will fall and we will see what the result was.

    Putin will not survive because he will be the first victim to appease the masses to see if that is enough.

    It is impossible to say when, the only thing we know is that the sh*thole country is infinitely more tolerant than our own yardsticks thought.
