Russian losses and activities

Russia carried out yet another extensive attack on Ukraine. The number of destroyed UAVs once again set a new record at 1851. Just a week ago it was 1515. Of the top 10 highest numbers so far into the war, the tenth position is 1074 from January 14th this year. So, it’s just over a month ago. Previously, it has been argued that Russia’s nightly attacks are futile and will not lead anywhere. If Russia continues to escalate, I’m afraid it will unfortunately have a significant impact. Perhaps not so much in terms of the population’s resistance, even though they will of course be severely affected, but primarily in terms of Ukraine’s defense industry. In addition to the risk of hitting such targets directly, it is very difficult to conduct efficient production without a stable supply of electricity.
Of course, FPV drones have become extremely important in direct battles at the frontlines, and the advantage there is, of course, that they can be manufactured anywhere and do not require central facilities that can easily be taken out.

    1. Thank you for pointing that out, changing!

Missed reloading the page before fetching the information. I need to sharpen up, not the first time it has happened. I also have a bad memory, so I don’t even recognize yesterday’s numbers.

  2. ⚡ Russian forces have begun mounting FPV drones on Shahed drones, according to a defense ministry adviser. He says footage shows a Shahed carrying two FPVs and warned air defense crews to watch for the new threat.

  3. “President Zelensky announced that Ukraine has imposed sanctions on Alexander Lukashenko. He stated that Russia established drone relay systems in Belarus in late 2025, intensifying attacks on the northern regions, and that over 3,000 Belarusian companies provide essential equipment and components for Russia’s war.”

  4. “🇺🇦 The conversation in Geneva was difficult, but important, – Budanov Budanov said that the Ukrainian team is preparing for negotiations in the near future. “We will stand firm!” – added Budanov.”

  5. Clamp message that they have completed the first round of the Spearshaft coin and that they plan to send them to Sweden today.

They also had the kindness to take photos of the coin, for those who can’t wait, there are now pictures of the actual coin on the website: https://spjutskaftet.se

  6. 🇺🇦Alexandrovsky direction: Our units have secured positions in Vidradny and pushed southward, expanding the control zone towards the Yanchur River. This is not just a tactical breakthrough, but a systematic leveling of the bridgehead with a view to reaching the natural border, which could become a support line for further pressure. In fact, a wedge is being formed, which penetrates the enemy’s defenses and forces them to stretch their reserves.

🇺🇦The next logical target is Danilovka. If it is successfully captured, there is a real threat of an operational cutoff of the enemy garrison in Andriyivka and Ostapivske. If logistics are disrupted, the garrison begins to suffocate: ammunition, rotation, supplies – everything is under attack. In such a scenario, the enemy is either forced to throw additional forces to break the blockade, or gradually lose positions under pressure.

🇺🇦In parallel, a fierce battle for Vyshneve & Verbove is ongoing. We are already partially present in these settlements, but to gain full control, we need to methodically drive the enemy out of their shelters and resistance nodes. There is a gradual clearing of positions without sudden breakthroughs,

🇺🇦Separately, the expansion of the infiltration zone to the southeast of Verbove in the direction of Kalinovsky is noted. This creates an additional vector of pressure and forces the enemy to defend on several axes at once. If the pace is maintained, the Pidarchuk forces risk finding themselves in a situation where their defense line will begin to collapse not from a single breakthrough, but from the combined destabilization of the flanks.”

  7. Zelenskyy: US promised Europe licenses to produce Patriot missiles — then refused

Germany now has no air defense missiles left to give Ukraine. Zelenskyy says it didn’t have to be this way: “There were promises of licenses, but America ultimately did not go along with it”

  8. Iran 🇮🇷

The US has begun, in the past hours, the massive redeployment of air tankers and early warning and control reconnaissance aircraft accumulated in European bases towards American bases deployed in the Middle East.

  9. 🇺🇦 Zelensky: I am grateful to everyone who contributes to PURL. In 2026, we already have financial contributions from the 🇬🇧UK, 🇳🇴Norway, the 🇳🇱Netherlands, 🇸🇪Sweden, 🇮🇸Iceland, and 🇱🇻Latvia, totaling $584 million. At the same time, the overall need for PURL in 2026 amounts to $15 billion.”
