I have had a post in progress for a long time about the Russian sabotage and war preparations that are starting to become ridiculously large – now they hijacked a hydroelectric power plant in Norway a while ago and opened the dam gates 100%, or maybe it was some dam gate.
Then Poland had the same problem 🧐
In Finland, there was contamination of drinking water, and Spain still hasn’t confirmed what triggered the major power outage a while ago, which is quite interesting. In most cases I know of, you can usually trace back to the root cause, but apparently, it wasn’t possible here.
Since you read my posts slavishly (🧐), you know that already on Sunday before the major power outage on the Iberian Peninsula, the power grid started to become unstable in the UK, and power producers shut down, but they managed to stabilize the situation because they had redundancy.
Around 09:00 on Monday, things started to wobble down on the Iberian Peninsula, to then be plunged into darkness around lunchtime when presumably something bigger shut down, triggering cascading effects that no one could stop?
This does not align at all with the official version that focuses on lunchtime on Monday when everything started to shut down. No one has told us what made the power grid unstable to begin with already on Sunday, and as far away as the UK.
There have also been quite a few IT problems during 2025, BankID, banking IT, payment systems, and more.
Substations burned in a few places in Europe earlier.
“we made it” someone exclaims ecstatically, “freeed in our time”.
Of course, this is the trial run before the real deal –
-can we blackout Europe, yes, very easy for the half-witted Portuguese and Spaniards have absolutely zero redundancy and all of Europe is interconnected.
-could we cut off substations, yes, but it didn’t have the cascading effects we had envisioned – more are needed at a given time to achieve blackout.
-do you think we can open all hydroelectric power plants wide open through IT attacks, yes, it worked great, the Norwegians were completely clueless and the Poles even worse 👍
Quite clear that one of the weapons in the toolbox is to try to blackout Europe, and since we have zero security at critical infrastructure, we have interconnected the power grids across the EU, and we have minimal redundancy thanks to you-know-who, I guess that’s almost guaranteed in a serious escalation.
It could be fun in January with a few days of blackout, but Sweden can probably shut down exports and we’ll manage – whoever can save themselves, especially SE4 who will have to sit in the dark and practice their Scanian accent.
You might remember my post about the 500 drone flyovers at high-value German targets during the first quarter of this year and how it is war-preparing.
They are constantly testing Article 5 and then checking if anything happens at military bases, and if nothing does, they continue.
Reason two is probably to log the targets for the drones and the criminal gangs in case of escalation.
The wave of sabotage will come before full conflict breaks out but is a strong indication of what is to come when it does.
Then Europe could perhaps find its inner Viking and push everything into the Baltics and maybe it will stop there – it’s all about weighing how much one has to pay to achieve the objectives, and threshold effect often works (if one has it available, that is).
In Sweden, over the past year/years, we have had several “tourists” who got lost and ended up at the Muskö base and other high-value targets that were protected areas.
Just think about the logistics for gathering information, which is just a fraction of the total number of influence operations, sabotage, and war-preparing activities.
Then there’s the defeatism – don’t do military service, then you’ll be sent to war. In the 90s, it was a bit different, and if there had been a war with Russia, most people would probably have seen it as their duty.
There’s a certain shift in what people today think is worth fighting for – everything today’s youth has is something previous generations fought for, and some are not even willing to fight to keep it apparently.
Then we have the Azerbaijani oil that the Russians contaminated just because they could.
The forest fires are very exciting; if you ask a member of the Green Party, it’s the climate crisis sweeping over Europe. They claimed that with the Spanish floods too when the truth was that to save the environment, they started demolishing hundreds of dams in the country (hydropower and dams), which caused downstream flooding during heavy rains.
Anyway – all over Europe, civilians have been arrested for starting fires.

And the worst sinners have started +60 fires each, a bit of a full-time job on top of that 🧐
https://en.apa.az/europe/turkiye-arrests-4-people-in-connection-with-61-forest-fires-in-july-473524
In the UK, two talents were arrested for arson that could be linked to Russia.
Here’s a Colombian in Poland who set things on fire for the Russians
Forest fires are a bit of a modern classic that even ISIS used, simple and devastating.
In Germany, three were arrested for planned sabotage
Here, Budanov warns of a stunning disinformation campaign during Zapad 25
Then you see all over Europe how Russia is trying to stir up conflicts between groups.
Yes, we have a pretty big problem in Europe where even countries like Ireland are now involved, and Dublin has gone from being Europe’s safest city to one of the most crime-ridden in 20 years, and media’s explanatory models are still quite creative as to why crime has skyrocketed.
I think the UK is reaching a boiling point because they also have their “grooming gang” trauma that they never resolved.
We have simply given Russia an excellent palette to create unrest in our countries, which they naturally do.
I remember a report from Sandviken that when it made the rounds in the media promised us a very bright future.
Today in 2025, AI Sandviken summarizes it like this –
“Crime in Sandviken is primarily characterized by an increased problem with gang crime and violence, especially regarding shootings and the recruitment of young individuals, according to local media from 2024. The municipality is actively working on preventive measures to prevent children and young people from getting involved in criminal environments. Despite these challenges, the municipality’s security chief believes that Sandviken is generally a safe place.”
The municipality’s budget has also apparently been a cause of great sorrow – where those 900 million went would be interesting to know 😀
Excuse the tangent – anyway, Russia, China, and Iran have, in any case, an excellent range of different measures to further destabilize us.
Russia and China will fully exploit this and create sensational acts of violence that stir up emotions, which are then amplified on social media to create opinion.
Now some things are happening on their own as well, but a not insignificant part is direct actions by Russia to create a conflict and we have probably barely seen the beginning of this yet.
I have already written about this in a couple of posts so everyone knows this.
For example, some people were arrested in Europe a few years ago for vandalizing Nazi symbols on synagogues. Just like during the Cold War where West German neo-Nazism was a Russian operation with a felt-tip pen.
The whole playbook is still being used and it will only increase.
I find it difficult to avoid the fact that I would like to see Russia fully occupied with internal conflicts because our countries in Europe are quite messy because of that country.
We should also straighten out our eastern border so that it becomes easily defensible and then completely mine it again and never issue a visa to anyone east of Finland.
Africa is there ready to do business with us – we don’t need Russia.
I have been following a British company that entered Angola for “rare earth minerals” and their stock price tripled in a few months – sad that one has too many children and too little money to make the investment of a lifetime that one knew would turn out exactly like that 😐
Africa is the future – Europe should forget about the USA, Russia, and China and instead return to industrial production and fair trade with Africa, where we have the winners of the future.
Let China, India, and Russia devour each other, which they will do as soon as they are not paid by us.

Regarding sabotage:
Here it is obvious that the issue is sabotage.
Since there are several cabinets involved, it also seems quite obvious that it was not just some dissatisfied resident who went loose on a cabinet in pure anger but that it was actually planned.
I assume they are testing to see the impact and how quickly the problems that arise can be addressed.
“Major internet outage in Eskilstuna – cable cabinets sabotaged
Several cable cabinets around Eskilstuna have been sabotaged during the night, reports Eskilstunakuriren.
The cabinets contain fiber optic cables for the internet.
– The cabinets are important and serve a critical function in society, as businesses and hospitals depend on them,” says Björn Wessman, officer on duty at the police, to the newspaper.
It is unclear to what extent internet traffic is affected, but on the municipality’s website for service information, they write that there is a disruption in the city network.”

Time to call in the home guard with live weapons. Can probably deter a few paid saboteurs.
It’s probably too damn bad, there are infinitely many nodes for infrastructure where an attack causes major problems, substations, waterworks, power plants, junction boxes, GSM towers, etc. These are largely unmonitored, because it’s unreasonable to monitor everything. We have to rely on people noticing if there are people around sensitive areas.
Off Topic. USA – Trump
The tariffs have been declared invalid, it will probably end up in the Supreme Court which is likely to go Trump’s way, now deportations are back on the table, let’s see how it goes this time.
“A federal instance consisting of several conservative judges has decided that Donald Trump’s deportation of Venezuelan migrants citing centuries-old war laws was illegal, reports the Washington Post.
The deportations, which took place in early 2025, were carried out citing the Alien Enemies Act of 1798. The law has only been invoked three times before, all occasions during wartime.”

⚡ 451 ENEMY TARGETS DESTROYED/SUPPRESSED
On the night of September 3 (starting at 4 p.m. on September 2), the enemy launched a combined strike on Ukrainian territory using strike UAVs, air- and sea-based missiles. In total, during the strike, the Air Force’s radio-technical troops detected and tracked 526 air attack vehicles:
– 502 Shahed-type strike UAVs and various types of dummy drones from the directions of Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, Orel, Shatalovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – RF, Chauda – TOT Crimea;
– 16 Kalibr cruise missiles from the Black Sea;
– 8 Kh-101 cruise missiles from the airspace of the Saratov region and Krasnodar Krai.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
💥 According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, air defense forces shot down/suppressed 451 air targets:
– 430 enemy Shahed-type UAVs and various types of drone simulators;
– 14 Kalibr cruise missiles;
– 7 Kh-101 cruise missiles.
Three missiles and 69 strike UAVs were recorded hitting 14 locations, with debris falling at 14 locations.
❗️The attack continues, with several enemy UAVs still in the airspace. Follow safety rules and stay in shelters!

Borscht from the sky: Ukraine uses drones to resupply trench-bound troops
On the front lines of Ukraine’s grinding trench war, some drones hunt the enemy but others bring soldiers vital supplies.
EASTERN UKRAINE — The troops huddled around their drone in the dark, carefully fastening the 40-pound payload to the bottom before launching it into the clear August sky.
From an underground base, a commander named Viktor watched on a fuzzy screen as the drone homed in on a cluster of trees along the front line near #Pokrovsk, where a fire was already burning from a recent hit, and then released its payload.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/2025/09/01/ukraine-drones-resupply-trench/
🧵https://x.com/anno1540/status/1962926651022434780?s=46
To keep the troops alive, Ukraine is deploying its own drones as a lifeline — dropping everything from ammo, cigarettes and calming herbs to rations that taste like home: borscht, cabbage rolls, roasted chicken.
These supply drops help Ukraine preserve its most precious resource: the soldiers holding back the constant Russian advance. Their task has become more urgent than ever as Russia continues its violent quest to seize more Ukrainian land even as President Donald Trump seeks a peace deal. The outcome of the war depends on these trenches scattered across hundreds of miles of Ukraine’s east and south, deep inside the gray zone under constant drone scrutiny.
(Soldiers put food, water and medicine in the packages, which are then weighed and wrapped. (Ed Ram/For The Washington Post)
🧵3/11 https://x.com/anno1540/status/1962927733958144024?s=46
The soldiers in these trenches often must survive for weeks without being detected by russian forces only a few hundred yards away.
The goal is often not even to attack, but just to not retreat.
The drone deliveries come with their own risks: Each one could reveal a Ukrainian position and expose them to counterstrikes
(Food, medicine, a periscope, cigarettes and other items are among the items delivered. (Ed Ram/For The Washington Post)
🧵4/11 https://x.com/anno1540/status/1962928081154261367?s=46
Tricky that, not risking revealing the positions. Perhaps it could be combined with ground drones that should be harder to detect and used to transport the final stretch.

Surely, as the CEO of Volvo Cars, he thinks so.
“This is what I get paid to say,” he could have said.
“Chinese investments in the battery industry in Sweden and Europe are needed. This is the opinion of Volvo Cars CEO Håkan Samuelsson.
“If we want any battery factories, we probably need to talk to Chinese licensors,” he tells Ekot, adding that the Chinese are “very advanced in terms of battery technology.”
Samuelsson pointed out already last summer that he saw no reason to stop Chinese investors or companies from building factories. Batteries are indeed a security-political strategic component, but the risk of being completely without battery production overshadows that,” he argues.”

Difficult balance for pro-Ukrainian propaganda.
Should one emphasize how well Ukraine is doing and how poorly Russia is doing, or vice versa?
If you downplay Russia, then Ukraine doesn’t need as much support.
If you portray Russia as strong, then there’s no point for Ukraine since they have no chance anyway. 🤷♂️

What are China’s and Russia’s plans for the coming year?
There you have it whether there will be a conflict or not.
+1 year from now the pendulum has swung again
Russia wants to wage war, otherwise the house of cards will collapse, and there will be a purge at the top.
I think China has two things on the agenda before they take the risk of going all in conflict with the West.
-They are trying to gather enough allies, so they have the possibility to handle a conflict with the West economically.
-They are trying to gain more control over the flow of raw materials and the production of critical products to the West, among other things by tying raw material-rich countries to themselves, including in Africa, and maybe also in South America.
All like Lukashenko now anyway
Well, possibly fried.
I don’t understand what’s wrong with the cultural canon?
furious editorials are being written about it now.
maybe a little more Astrid Lindgren?
yes, they have freshened up a bit up to 1975 but a good list for school curricula, right?
Have I missed something?
Klenell seems grumpy, can’t copy it either.
but no one seems to write what we should have had instead?
I’m reading an opinion column in SvD (Kristoffer Leandoer). A long harangue about how stupid and directly harmful the whole project with a cannon is. Not least what an enormous waste of money. 8 million is said.
https://www.svd.se/a/bmAlRd/kara-nordar-kanon-ar-en-falla
Ends like this:
“I can imagine that the government’s cooperating party nods approvingly somewhere in the background.
And more than that probably doesn’t need to be said.”
Whoa!
Detrimental? How so?
Although I agree that 8 million could have been spent on something else, even though I would have guessed that it would have cost more considering how long it has been going on.
All efforts to create some kind of common cultural base are of course harmful to the ongoing fragmentation in society…
No real issue but I don’t really understand the point of highlighting 10 selected works in 11 categories (who even decided on the categories?)
Feels mostly like the result is a bunch of bickering politicians and cultural figures where some are happy and content while others are angry and upset, while regular people don’t care at all. 😀
Would have preferred if the money and energy were spent on more worthwhile things.
The majority of those who complain are middle-aged, chalk-white, white-flight cultural gnomes, born in Sweden, who have never had to think about what is Swedish.
😀
At the same time, it also seems that it is not appreciated when women with foreign backgrounds discuss our new canon.
Jessica Stegrud:
“Speaking of, it’s interesting that it’s a Swedish-born Kurd and a Persian debating a Swedish cultural canon on Aktuellt.”
https://x.com/JessicaStegrud/status/1962957606898536905
Then she in turn receives criticism for it:
https://omni.se/kristersson-om-sd-toppens-kommentar-obegriplig/a/al66PL
Apparently, it’s not even possible to hold a discussion about the cultural canon without it spiraling out of control regardless of the parties involved.
Incredibly strange how things change.
Those who laughed at Trump’s “they stole my election” are now themselves saying that the Republicans are planning election fraud in 2026 and 2028.
Do we remember Clinton who also claimed election fraud when she lost?
Is this the new normal? That as soon as one doesn’t win an election, it’s fraud!? If that’s the case, we might as well take down the sign and shut down the democracies since no one will accept the election results anymore.
Both R and D do what they can to improve their chances, and both preferably want eternal power 😀
But yes, one side claims to be more good and holy.
It is good and sacred to not have to prove identity when voting….
Everyone else is cheating, of course! 😀
The worst part is that it seems like there are a lot of people in the USA who believe in it too.
👍

What happened to those rock-hard sanctions that were supposed to be imposed due to the lack of a ceasefire?
It really bothers him incredibly as soon as he has to do something that is detrimental to Putin. I wonder why, is it because Trump is his friend and mentor? Is it because he is terrified of him? Is it because it’s bad for business? Or is it love?

K. Gregg:
“03.09.2025 update, we start with the fronts. A trend that is now becoming increasingly clear is that we are making small but effective counterattacks across the entire front line, all the way from Sumy down to Zaporizhzhia. These counterattacks are carried out as genuine guerrilla operations. Whether this is preparations for something larger or if it is a tactic that we will stick to in order to nibble away at the ryzzen within a limited area, I leave uncertain at this stage.
Do we have to deal with Putin for over 70 more years? 🤮
“Hot mic picks up Putin and Xi discussing organ transplants and immortality
BEIJING, Sept 3 (Reuters) – When Russian President Vladimir Putin walked shoulder to shoulder with China’s President Xi Jinping on Wednesday, a hot mic caught them discussing organ transplants and the possibility that humans could live to 150 years old.
The moment came as Putin and Xi walked with North Korea’s Kim Jong Un at the head of a delegation of more than two dozen foreign leaders to view a military parade in Beijing marking the 80th anniversary of the end of World War Two.
The translator added, after an inaudible passage, “human organs can be continuously transplanted. The longer you live, the younger you become, and (you can) even achieve immortality.” …”

Maybe North Korea will become an organ supplier to the leadership in China and Russia, if they can get rid of the parasites. In such a totalitarian dictatorship as North Korea, they can surely start breeding people as organ donors if they get money and weapons.
Putin’s implanted right arm seemed to have some limited mobility in the TV images…
The fund is shrinking far too slowly.
“As of September 2025: The liquid portion of the Russian National Welfare Fund holds:

👉 178.2609 tons of gold (-0.8365 tons)

”Putin: The West is to blame for the tragedy in Ukraine, as it completely ignored Russia’s security interests.
A referendum is needed for the issue of territories, this requires the abolition of martial law, and therefore elections.
If common sense prevails, a peaceful settlement is possible given the current U.S. administration’s calls for solutions — otherwise, the conflict will have to be resolved militarily.”

“😵💫 Putin: Ukraine is not capable of conducting a large-scale offensive. Ukraine’s reserves are steadily shrinking, and its combat-ready units are prepared at only 47–48% — this is a critical threshold.

Oh, I’ve had enough of Putin’s nonsense before I feel nauseous.
Thank you, it was on the verge, a Lavrov quote and I had ordered a pizza.
The worst part is that there are quite a few countries that believe what they say.

“Concern spreads in the town of Mandera, on the border between Kenya and Somalia, after forces from the Somali Jubaland region crossed the border into Kenya, reports The East African.
The reason is that the Somali forces have been pushed westward by Somalia’s state army, with which they are in conflict.
“Shockingly, the Jubaland forces are consolidating their power in the town of Mandera on Kenyan soil and literally taking over our community. This is a violation of our sovereignty,” writes Ali Ibrahim Roba, a local senator in Mandera, on X.”

“Parts of terminal five at Arlanda Airport are being evacuated after a gas leak has been discovered on the premises, reports SVT Stockholm.
– It’s a truck leaking vehicle gas inside the area of Arlanda, the risk is that it could ignite but it hasn’t, says Ulf Tholén, operations manager, Rescue Center Mitt.
According to Expressen, several flights have been delayed, but Arlanda’s website does not explain why. Currently, there is no forecast.
The rescue service is reported to be on site to ensure that the leak does not cause an explosion.”

“The Telegraph: China is secretly supplying Russia with drone parts worth at least £47 million, including engines, microchips, and carbon fiber, despite its claims of neutrality. These components, which are critically important for Russia’s drone war in Ukraine, come from nearly 100 Chinese companies, often through dual-use goods and smuggling in order to bypass sanctions.”

Paid with European oil and gas money. And when will we get a total stop within the EU? Probably not until the Russians have managed to complete Power of Siberia 2 and increased the oil exports to India. Constantly too little, too late and with incredibly long implementation so that Moscow manages to alleviate the impact of the sanctions. Time to introduce secondary sanctions!
Yes, one is constantly frustrated that more is not being done. It doesn’t really matter what the Russians do either. “We take the situation seriously… We condemn…” etc.
Ok, if we overwhelmed Ukraine with everything they could possibly need, but not even that happens.
At some point, we must put our foot down firmly.
Like Jake Broe in his latest.
Why not just inform Russia to stop the GPS disruptions, otherwise we will take them out? Or that we stop all ships heading to Russia, or seize their frozen assets?
It does violate agreements, but Russia violates all agreements and is a threat, they have already forfeited their rights.
By the way, are you still having trouble accessing the site from home?
Just got home, and now it’s working smoothly.

It will now be cheaper to dance, or probably more profitable for those who offer dance.
Therefore, dancing is now also included in the Friday intoxication!
“The parties are in agreement to reduce the VAT on dance events from 25 to 6 percent, according to sources for Ekot. The reduction of the so-called dance band VAT, which according to reports is part of the government’s autumn budget, will also include entrance to nightclubs. …”
