I have had a post in progress for a long time about the Russian sabotage and war preparations that are starting to become ridiculously large – now they hijacked a hydroelectric power plant in Norway a while ago and opened the dam gates 100%, or maybe it was some dam gate.
Then Poland had the same problem 🧐
In Finland, there was contamination of drinking water, and Spain still hasn’t confirmed what triggered the major power outage a while ago, which is quite interesting. In most cases I know of, you can usually trace back to the root cause, but apparently, it wasn’t possible here.
Since you read my posts slavishly (🧐), you know that already on Sunday before the major power outage on the Iberian Peninsula, the power grid started to become unstable in the UK, and power producers shut down, but they managed to stabilize the situation because they had redundancy.
Around 09:00 on Monday, things started to wobble down on the Iberian Peninsula, to then be plunged into darkness around lunchtime when presumably something bigger shut down, triggering cascading effects that no one could stop?
This does not align at all with the official version that focuses on lunchtime on Monday when everything started to shut down. No one has told us what made the power grid unstable to begin with already on Sunday, and as far away as the UK.
There have also been quite a few IT problems during 2025, BankID, banking IT, payment systems, and more.
Substations burned in a few places in Europe earlier.
“we made it” someone exclaims ecstatically, “freeed in our time”.
Of course, this is the trial run before the real deal –
-can we blackout Europe, yes, very easy for the half-witted Portuguese and Spaniards have absolutely zero redundancy and all of Europe is interconnected.
-could we cut off substations, yes, but it didn’t have the cascading effects we had envisioned – more are needed at a given time to achieve blackout.
-do you think we can open all hydroelectric power plants wide open through IT attacks, yes, it worked great, the Norwegians were completely clueless and the Poles even worse 👍
Quite clear that one of the weapons in the toolbox is to try to blackout Europe, and since we have zero security at critical infrastructure, we have interconnected the power grids across the EU, and we have minimal redundancy thanks to you-know-who, I guess that’s almost guaranteed in a serious escalation.
It could be fun in January with a few days of blackout, but Sweden can probably shut down exports and we’ll manage – whoever can save themselves, especially SE4 who will have to sit in the dark and practice their Scanian accent.
You might remember my post about the 500 drone flyovers at high-value German targets during the first quarter of this year and how it is war-preparing.
They are constantly testing Article 5 and then checking if anything happens at military bases, and if nothing does, they continue.
Reason two is probably to log the targets for the drones and the criminal gangs in case of escalation.
The wave of sabotage will come before full conflict breaks out but is a strong indication of what is to come when it does.
Then Europe could perhaps find its inner Viking and push everything into the Baltics and maybe it will stop there – it’s all about weighing how much one has to pay to achieve the objectives, and threshold effect often works (if one has it available, that is).
In Sweden, over the past year/years, we have had several “tourists” who got lost and ended up at the Muskö base and other high-value targets that were protected areas.
Just think about the logistics for gathering information, which is just a fraction of the total number of influence operations, sabotage, and war-preparing activities.
Then there’s the defeatism – don’t do military service, then you’ll be sent to war. In the 90s, it was a bit different, and if there had been a war with Russia, most people would probably have seen it as their duty.
There’s a certain shift in what people today think is worth fighting for – everything today’s youth has is something previous generations fought for, and some are not even willing to fight to keep it apparently.
Then we have the Azerbaijani oil that the Russians contaminated just because they could.
The forest fires are very exciting; if you ask a member of the Green Party, it’s the climate crisis sweeping over Europe. They claimed that with the Spanish floods too when the truth was that to save the environment, they started demolishing hundreds of dams in the country (hydropower and dams), which caused downstream flooding during heavy rains.
Anyway – all over Europe, civilians have been arrested for starting fires.

And the worst sinners have started +60 fires each, a bit of a full-time job on top of that 🧐
https://en.apa.az/europe/turkiye-arrests-4-people-in-connection-with-61-forest-fires-in-july-473524
In the UK, two talents were arrested for arson that could be linked to Russia.
Here’s a Colombian in Poland who set things on fire for the Russians
Forest fires are a bit of a modern classic that even ISIS used, simple and devastating.
In Germany, three were arrested for planned sabotage
Here, Budanov warns of a stunning disinformation campaign during Zapad 25
Then you see all over Europe how Russia is trying to stir up conflicts between groups.
Yes, we have a pretty big problem in Europe where even countries like Ireland are now involved, and Dublin has gone from being Europe’s safest city to one of the most crime-ridden in 20 years, and media’s explanatory models are still quite creative as to why crime has skyrocketed.
I think the UK is reaching a boiling point because they also have their “grooming gang” trauma that they never resolved.
We have simply given Russia an excellent palette to create unrest in our countries, which they naturally do.
I remember a report from Sandviken that when it made the rounds in the media promised us a very bright future.
Today in 2025, AI Sandviken summarizes it like this –
“Crime in Sandviken is primarily characterized by an increased problem with gang crime and violence, especially regarding shootings and the recruitment of young individuals, according to local media from 2024. The municipality is actively working on preventive measures to prevent children and young people from getting involved in criminal environments. Despite these challenges, the municipality’s security chief believes that Sandviken is generally a safe place.”
The municipality’s budget has also apparently been a cause of great sorrow – where those 900 million went would be interesting to know 😀
Excuse the tangent – anyway, Russia, China, and Iran have, in any case, an excellent range of different measures to further destabilize us.
Russia and China will fully exploit this and create sensational acts of violence that stir up emotions, which are then amplified on social media to create opinion.
Now some things are happening on their own as well, but a not insignificant part is direct actions by Russia to create a conflict and we have probably barely seen the beginning of this yet.
I have already written about this in a couple of posts so everyone knows this.
For example, some people were arrested in Europe a few years ago for vandalizing Nazi symbols on synagogues. Just like during the Cold War where West German neo-Nazism was a Russian operation with a felt-tip pen.
The whole playbook is still being used and it will only increase.
I find it difficult to avoid the fact that I would like to see Russia fully occupied with internal conflicts because our countries in Europe are quite messy because of that country.
We should also straighten out our eastern border so that it becomes easily defensible and then completely mine it again and never issue a visa to anyone east of Finland.
Africa is there ready to do business with us – we don’t need Russia.
I have been following a British company that entered Angola for “rare earth minerals” and their stock price tripled in a few months – sad that one has too many children and too little money to make the investment of a lifetime that one knew would turn out exactly like that 😐
Africa is the future – Europe should forget about the USA, Russia, and China and instead return to industrial production and fair trade with Africa, where we have the winners of the future.
Let China, India, and Russia devour each other, which they will do as soon as they are not paid by us.

ADS
As you have probably noticed, we now have ads on the site. The ads and their placement are managed by Google, which also tries to optimize it automatically. We will let it run for a few weeks to see where it ends up. Some placements feel quite large, but it might get better.
We will then post a survey to hear what you think, if there are too many ads, if there are certain placements that are particularly annoying, etc. so we can make any adjustments after that.

Regarding sabotage:
Here it is obvious that the issue is sabotage.
Since there are several cabinets involved, it also seems quite obvious that it was not just some dissatisfied resident who went loose on a cabinet in pure anger but that it was actually planned.
I assume they are testing to see the impact and how quickly the problems that arise can be addressed.
“Major internet outage in Eskilstuna – cable cabinets sabotaged
Several cable cabinets around Eskilstuna have been sabotaged during the night, reports Eskilstunakuriren.
The cabinets contain fiber optic cables for the internet.
– The cabinets are important and serve a critical function in society, as businesses and hospitals depend on them,” says Björn Wessman, officer on duty at the police, to the newspaper.
It is unclear to what extent internet traffic is affected, but on the municipality’s website for service information, they write that there is a disruption in the city network.”

Off Topic. USA – Trump
The tariffs have been declared invalid, it will probably end up in the Supreme Court which is likely to go Trump’s way, now deportations are back on the table, let’s see how it goes this time.
“A federal instance consisting of several conservative judges has decided that Donald Trump’s deportation of Venezuelan migrants citing centuries-old war laws was illegal, reports the Washington Post.
The deportations, which took place in early 2025, were carried out citing the Alien Enemies Act of 1798. The law has only been invoked three times before, all occasions during wartime.”

Borscht from the sky: Ukraine uses drones to resupply trench-bound troops
On the front lines of Ukraine’s grinding trench war, some drones hunt the enemy but others bring soldiers vital supplies.
EASTERN UKRAINE — The troops huddled around their drone in the dark, carefully fastening the 40-pound payload to the bottom before launching it into the clear August sky.
From an underground base, a commander named Viktor watched on a fuzzy screen as the drone homed in on a cluster of trees along the front line near #Pokrovsk, where a fire was already burning from a recent hit, and then released its payload.

To keep the troops alive, Ukraine is deploying its own drones as a lifeline — dropping everything from ammo, cigarettes and calming herbs to rations that taste like home: borscht, cabbage rolls, roasted chicken.
These supply drops help Ukraine preserve its most precious resource: the soldiers holding back the constant Russian advance. Their task has become more urgent than ever as Russia continues its violent quest to seize more Ukrainian land even as President Donald Trump seeks a peace deal. The outcome of the war depends on these trenches scattered across hundreds of miles of Ukraine’s east and south, deep inside the gray zone under constant drone scrutiny.

The soldiers in these trenches often must survive for weeks without being detected by russian forces only a few hundred yards away.
The goal is often not even to attack, but just to not retreat.
The drone deliveries come with their own risks: Each one could reveal a Ukrainian position and expose them to counterstrikes
