  1. Vi får hoppas att Polen och Ukraina kan hålla sams.

** Poland’s President Nawrocki is Behaving Like Viktor Orban, Zelensky Says
In brief: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Polish President Karol Nawrocki’s decision to revoke his Order of the White Eagle was driven by domestic political rivalry, not bilateral relations. Zelensky accused Nawrocki of fueling anti-Ukrainian sentiment for political gain and warned it could damage Polish-Ukrainian ties. **

**Tusk Warns Poland-Ukraine Feud Is a ‘Strategic Mistake’ as Decoration Row Escalates
In brief: Donald Tusk has moved to cool rising tensions between Poland and Ukraine, warning that the political clash sparked by President Karol Nawrocki’s decision to strip Volodymyr Zelensky of Poland’s top decoration risks harming both nations. **

** The Armed Forces of #Ukraine “liberated” Tolstoi from russian flag waivers. Tolstoi has not been under control by russians but it hasn’t stopped some claims of control. This is a pure grey zone move **

  3. Four airports in Moscow were temporarily closed during the night leading into Monday following an alert about a large number of drones seen nearby. This was reported by international media citing Russian authorities.

A total of 59 drones were destroyed in connection with the incident, writes Moscow’s mayor Sergei Sobyanin on Telegram.

  4. Off-Topic, sad that there was no regime change in Iran.

“The Iranian singer Parastoo Ahmadi has been sentenced to 74 lashes for performing without a veil during a concert in the city of Qom. There was no audience present, but the entire concert was livestreamed on Youtube, reports SVT.

The offense is said to have been that Ahmadi ‘insulted public decency by producing and publishing vulgar and immoral content,’ according to the exile-Iranian human rights organization HRANA.

The concert took place in December 2024 and Ahmadi was arrested shortly thereafter. In addition to the lashes, she is also sentenced to a two-year period during which she is neither allowed to leave the country nor engage in artistic activities.

Eight people who participated in the production of the video – including Ahmadi’s fellow musicians – have also reportedly been sentenced, writes HRANA.”

  5.  A crew member has been killed when a ship flying the Panamanian flag was hit by a Russian drone in the Black Sea, according to Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Kuleba, as reported by AFP. The ship was heading towards a Ukrainian port when it was hit and caught fire.

The deceased was a 58-year-old Egyptian cook. Eight other sailors, including Turkish and Indian citizens, were rescued on a lifeboat.

At the same time, new Russian attacks are reported against Odesa and Zaporizhzhia, where at least one person has been killed and several injured, according to TT.

  6. Off-Topic, Hormuz

“Several ships have resumed voyages through the Strait of Hormuz following the new understanding agreement between the USA and Iran, reports Bloomberg. Among them are three state-owned Saudi supertankers that have been stuck in the Persian Gulf since the outbreak of war.

Also, a ship carrying Qatari liquefied LNG gas and a Chinese tanker have been able to pass through the strait.

The passage of the Saudi ships is seen as particularly significant, as they are the first to have transported larger volumes of oil through Hormuz, writes the news agency.

Over 100 tankers are reported to have been stuck in the gulf since the outbreak of war.”

  8. ** The occupied Donetsk region is being isolated from Russia through drone-dropped remote mining, according to reports from the area. The forced closure of border checkpoints highlights the region’s vulnerability to Ukraine’s anti-logistics campaign.

Despite occupied regions of Ukraine having been formally annexed, Russia still maintains full border controls with its ‘new territories’. This is generally believed to be to meant prevent the smuggling of weapons and drugs, and to stop military deserters returning to Russia.

However, the retention of border controls has also created chokepoints which Ukraine can block. Recent reports have indicated that air-dropped mines are being deployed around the checkpoints from Ukrainian drones, many kilometres from the front line.

As a result, reports Russian warblogger ‘Shakespeare’: “Well, things are not going well here either. It’s reported that the passage through the Uspenka checkpoint is closed today. They’re not giving a reason, but everyone knows the reason: drones.”

“They’re trying to turn Donbass into an island as well [as Crimea].” ‘Colonelcassad’ explains the reason: “The enemy has carried out remote mine laying in the areas of the Uspenka and Dolzhanskye checkpoints, as well as on a section of the Dolzhanskye-Rovenki highway.

We urge you to temporarily refrain from traveling in these directions. If such a need arises, be extremely vigilant, take the warnings of the relevant services and patrols on site very seriously, and under no circumstances interfere with the work of the bomb disposal service by filming and disseminating such materials online. Everything will be fine, the problem is being addressed and it will be resolved as soon as possible.” Videos and photos from the region show air-dropped mines lying by the roadside.

They are capable of killing people, as well as severely damaging vehicles, as ‘Typical Donetsk’ explains: “2 people died on a highway in the LNR as a result of the detonation of an explosive object dropped from a drone.”

One of the residents found a suspicious object and tried to remove it himself. As a result of the explosion, 2 people died.

Currently, on the E-50 highway in the direction of the Dolzhansky checkpoint, between the Dolzhansky settlement and the city of Rovenki, the movement of motor vehicles is restricted until the completion of engineering and demining works,” said the Head of the LNR, Pasechnik.”
