Today’s report shows heavy losses of personnel and artillery but above all we have a new record when it comes to logistics/soft vehicles. The previous record was 524, so this is not a small increase either.

        One should not read too much into the quarrel between Nawrocki and Zelensky. Tusk and the government are at least downplaying the whole thing.

      Terrible, I wonder if it could be that they had the AC on when they left the car, especially electric cars have that capability, but it could be that it turns off after a while depending on the settings and the car.

      On the VW, you can start it in the app, then it stays on for 30 minutes. From inside the car, you can start it for a longer time, but once you get out of the car, the half hour applies, so if you want to camp in an ID4, you should fiddle a bit with some weight on the front seat so the car thinks someone is sitting there.         That is a factoid that is unusually difficult to dispel. It was true earlier, but when gang violence peaked, we surpassed Finland in absolute numbers (as well). Then the trend was quite alarming; Finland and other comparable countries showed a steady decrease while we remained unchanged, all driven by the development of violence in a comparatively small group.

          Yes, here in Finland we still have those traditional killings involving alcohol, spiced with old grudges and debts that escalate into knife fights. They are usually quite easy to solve, and the victims and perpetrators are known to the police from before.

          However, gang crime has probably started to creep over here from the Swedish side as well, especially among the younger generation, and the attitude among young people has changed as certain TikTokers, bloggers, and gangster rappers have become more popular in some circles.

In Sweden, it is largely those who are involved in, or related to, the gang who end up badly (then there are the ruthless ones and also outsiders/unrelated who are killed).     Have you noticed that Trump is back on Ukraine?

    A couple of statements that clearly show that RU is starting to get nervous and Trump is trying to negotiate a ceasefire.

    Now we have finally reached the point where Europe either does the right thing or the wrong thing and has to live with the consequences for the next generations.

    Exciting times – Meloni and Macron seem to be on the right side now and the Nordics are already there.

    Maybe it’s enough?

    The Danes sending an entire battalion to Latvia is a big deal, for them it is not small potatoes.

    What if we follow with two more and the French send the Foreign Legion there?

    If they can just hold the crossings over the Daugava, RU will not achieve necessary combat objectives and will probably refrain.
