Ukraine has once again attacked the oil terminal in Novorossiysk – Russian soldier losses have now surpassed 1.5 million

Ukrainian drones attacked the Novorossiysk oil terminal during the night, and according to reports, it caught fire; a residential building was also damaged. The mayor confirms that an attack occurred and that debris fell on the industrial area and near a residential building but does not provide further details. Read more here.

Russian losses

Russian losses of wounded and killed soldiers have now surpassed 1.5 million. That is an almost incomprehensibly large number of people, and I hope this is also recognized by the Russians. How many wounded and killed are they willing to sacrifice for Putin? Many are celebrating this milestone, and it is clear that it is positive that there are now fewer soldiers who can murder, rape, and torture Ukrainians, but at the same time, one knows that it has also cost many Ukrainian soldiers their lives, so my feelings are somewhat mixed.

Ukraine has marked the milestone by including lemons in the loss report. I looked up what that could mean, and it is a form of wordplay.
Lemon is “лимон” (limón) in both Ukrainian and Russian and is used as slang for “one million,” mostly when referring to money.

Glory to Ukraine!
The 1659th day of the Russian Federation’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun.

In the past 24 hours, a total of 263 combat engagements were recorded.
Yesterday, the enemy conducted two missile strikes and 79 air strikes, during which 302 guided aerial bombs were dropped. Additionally, the attackers used 9,233 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,601 shellings against communities and our troops’ positions, including 42 with rocket artillery.

Hostile shelling affected, among others, the communities of Bachivsk, Bezsalivka, Korenok, Ulanove, Neskuchne, Rohizne, Atynske, Volfyne, Tovstodubove, Mala Slobidka, Potapivka, Sopych, Hirky, Myshutyne, Kozache, Vovkivka, Sukhodil, Kucherivka, and Stara Huta in the Sumy region, as well as Khrinivka and Chornyi Rih in the Chernihiv region. Partyzanske was subjected to an airstrike.

In the past 24 hours, the defense forces’ aviation, missile units, and artillery struck seven areas with concentrations of enemy personnel, eight command posts for unmanned aerial vehicles, and one artillery system belonging to the occupiers.

On the northern Slobozhansky and Kursk sectors, two enemy assault attempts were recorded in the past 24 hours. The attacker carried out 79 shellings against our troops’ positions and communities. The enemy also conducted an airstrike with a guided aerial bomb.

On the southern Slobozhansky sector, Ukrainian units repelled ten enemy attacks. The attackers tried to advance towards the communities of Lyman, Starytsia, Vovtjansk, Chaikivka, Mala Vovcha, Rubizhne, and Ustynivka.

On the Kupyansk sector, the enemy attempted to improve their positions on six occasions through assault operations towards Kupyansk, Kurylivka, Hlushkivka, and Novoosynove.

Attempts to break into our defense were repelled on the Lyman sector, where the occupiers conducted 11 attacks towards the communities of Shyikivka, Druzheliubivka, Novoselivka, Lyman, and Dibrova.

On the Sloviansk sector, the enemy conducted seven assault attempts in the areas around Yampil, Kryva Luka, Kalenyky, Mykolaivka, and Rai-Oleksandrivka.

On the Kramatorsk sector, the Russian attackers carried out an offensive operation towards Yurkivka.

On the Kostyantynivka sector, 17 attacks were recorded. According to updated information, the attackers conducted assault operations in the area around Kostyantynivka and towards Novoselivka, Mykolaipillia, Shakhove, Sofiivka, Rusyn Yar, Illinivka, and Kucheriv Yar.

On the Pokrovsk sector, the enemy carried out 49 attacks. The occupiers tried to advance towards the communities of Dorozhnie, Bilytske, Novyi Donbas, Vodianske, Shevchenko, Nadiia, Myrne, Serhiivka, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, Novopidhorodnie, Dobropillia, Hannivka, Krasnopodillia, and Novopavlivka.

On the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy conducted two assault attempts towards Rybne and Shevchenko.

On the Huljajpole sector, the occupiers attacked our defenders’ positions nine times. The enemy tried to advance towards the communities of Dobropillia, Rizdvianka, Kosivtseve, Tsvitkove, and Charivne.

On the Orikhiv sector, the enemy made no attempts to improve their positions.

On the Prydniprovsk sector, the occupiers conducted no offensive operations.

On the Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs have been detected that the enemy is forming offensive force groupings.

In total, the Russian attackers’ losses in the past 24 hours amounted to 1,480 personnel. Additionally, six tanks, five armored fighting vehicles, 42 artillery systems, one rocket artillery system, one air defense system, 33 missiles, 13 ground-based missile systems, 1,879 unmanned aerial vehicles, 530 vehicles, and three units of special equipment were neutralized.

    We are probably getting started now, but maybe the UK wasn’t so smart here, they will probably have the USA after them.

    Burnham should have waited with Israel, where Netanyahu also seems to be in a weak position anyway.

    All of Europe must focus on the UA war now until it is resolved.

    Spain is somewhat the same with Ceuta. It is surprising to me how state-supported trafficking hybrid warfare can still work.

    Now everyone + the UK are sending interceptors to UA, and if they can just shoot down the missiles, Putin’s ace for the year will be gone.

    Trump has asked Putin to lie low until after the midterm elections – we pray to the gods that Europe manages this well, a chance we did not deserve but we got it.

      What type of interceptors does “all” send? Are there sufficient quantities of non-Patriot interceptors that can counter ballistic missiles? Freya is presumably a future solution, not something available today.

      Of course, there are some Patriots in the world, but they are probably both too few and kept for possible future use.

    Have you perhaps installed some security plugin that clears cookies or something similar around the time you started having problems? Or did an operating system update maybe come out?

      I would say that she is partly right. Shutting down nuclear power without having alternative base power was really stupid.

      But… The fundamental problem is that they, eagerly encouraged by the Greens and Russia, wanted to base their electricity production on Russian gas.

      Is it number 1 on the bingo card? I only find a Ukrainian one and can’t decode the name. Seems to be 2500 km away, so that fits pretty well if they took some detours to get there.

      If Ukraine gets there, it’s time to pop open a cold one, then they really have messed up.
