The 1660th day of the Russian Federation’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun.
During the past day, a total of 277 combat engagements were recorded.
Yesterday, the enemy conducted 91 airstrikes, during which 331 guided aerial bombs were dropped. Additionally, the attackers used 10,913 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,117 shellings against communities and our troops’ positions.
In the Sumy region, the communities of Korenok, Tovstodubove, Pysarivka, Ulanove, Khotin, Yastrubshchyna, Sadky, Myropillia, and Ivolzhanske were subjected to hostile artillery fire. Additionally, the areas around Vilna Sloboda and Bereza were targeted by airstrikes.
During the past day, the defense forces’ aviation, missile units, and artillery struck an area with a concentration of enemy personnel, six artillery systems, two command posts for unmanned aerial vehicles, and one air defense missile system.
In the northern Slobozhansky and Kursk sectors, our defenders repelled two enemy assault attempts during the past day.
In the southern Slobozhansky sector, Ukrainian units repelled 14 enemy attacks. The attackers tried to advance in the areas around Kozacha Lopan, Lyman, and Starytsia, as well as in the direction of Shyroke and Chuhunivka.
In the Kupyansk sector, the enemy attacked three times in the areas around Petropavlivka and Novoosynove.
Attempts to break through our defense were repelled in the Lyman sector, where the occupiers carried out five attacks in the areas around Lyman and Dibrova, as well as in the direction of Novoselivka.
In the Sloviansk sector, the enemy conducted an assault attempt in the direction of Pyskunivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the occupiers attacked once in the direction of the community of Fedorivka.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, seven attacks were recorded. The attackers conducted assault operations in the areas around Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, and Dovha Balka.
The largest number of assault attempts was recorded in the Pokrovsk sector, where our defenders stopped 44 attacks. The enemy was active in the areas around Bilytske, Serhiivka, Udachne, and Molodetske and also conducted assaults in the direction of Dorozhnie, Mykolaipillia, Vodianske, Nadiia, Vasylivka, Toretske, Novohryhorivka, Stepy, Hannivka, Dobropillia, Shevchenko, Svitlé, and Matiashéve.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, the attackers conducted two attacks in the direction of the communities of Radisne and Rybne.
In the Huljajpole sector, the occupiers attacked 10 times. The enemy tried to advance in the area around Hirke as well as in the direction of Rizdvianka, Ternuvate, and Charivne.
In the Orikhiv sector, the enemy conducted no assault operations during the past day.
In the Prydniprovsk sector, the enemy conducted no assault operations during the past day.
In the Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs have been detected that the enemy is forming offensive force groupings.
The Ukrainian defenders continue the systematic combat against the enemy and effectively resist on all front sectors.
In total, the Russian attackers’ losses during the past day amounted to 1,520 personnel. Additionally, one tank, 15 armored fighting vehicles, 69 artillery systems, two rocket artillery systems, five air defense systems, one helicopter, 16 ground-based missile systems, 2,017 unmanned aerial vehicles, and 613 vehicles were neutralized.

Often it is the case with populist parties that they claim to have simple solutions to difficult problems. And unfortunately, it is often those who are “different” who are blamed for the problems.

The fact that so many vote for these populist parties shows that there are problems that the other parties have not yet come up with credible solutions for.
So, if one wants to avoid a government dominated by the far right, it is important for the other parties to see which problems the populists raise, and make sure they themselves have a credible action plan for this that they can present.
This happens automatically if the mainstream parties do not try to ignore the populists. Refusing to cooperate with them only strengthens them. Letting them into the government does not automatically make the government a Nazi party, but will show that the populists cannot implement everything they promised; there are rarely any simple solutions. Then in the next election, the populists have become more mainstream and the regular parties may have realized that to solve certain problems, one may have to make some uncomfortable decisions.

The UN has followed the line of the Russian devils and sneaked in the areas occupied by them as Russian in connection with the adoption of a new map projection recently.
Japan protests against the new world map that the UN General Assembly voted through last week, reports The Guardian. On the map, the Kuril Islands appear as Russian, which Japan wants the UN to correct.
The issue of the Kuril Islands has long been disputed. After the Soviet Union took the island group in 1945, the Japanese population there was expelled. All islands are today under Russian jurisdiction, writes TT. At the same time, Japan claims that several islands belong to the country’s territory.
The purpose of the new map is to show the countries’ proportions more realistically. The African continent has been drawn larger while North America and Europe have shrunk, which the USA has been critical of.
Ukraine abstained from participating in the UN vote as the map shows the occupied Crimean Peninsula in a different color than the rest of Ukraine.
The idea behind the map in general is something I am positive about, but that they then take the opportunity to redraw the borders, and that more people do not protest and vote them through is incomprehensible.
