Macron really knows how to disappoint again and again. I don’t quite understand what he hopes to achieve? The only thing I can think of is that France is very dependent on trade with China (and with Russia). I’ll see if I can find data about France’s imports and exports.. Or if someone else maybe has already dug into it?
I am probably the only one leaning more towards May than April but considering the Russian low point it wouldn’t be wrong if they started now (provided everything is in place and the ground holds).

You’re probably right as usual 😀

It’s hard for me to just wait so I hope I’m wrong! 🙂

Macron has had a very strong relapse and thinks that the EU should be less dependent on the USA and above all leave China alone when it comes to Taiwan.
He should know better and he should have respect for the USA which saved his country in two wars.
China is also not his sphere of interest, the USA is trying its best to help a number of neighbors to China in Asia to defend themselves as best they can.
Macron does absolutely nothing for them but he wants all the advantages.
It is above all the same Macron who convinced Ukraine that Russia would not attack in February.
And then he peddled for a while that Ukraine should give up land.
He carries on a long tradition of being wrong since roughly the Maginot Line.
It is now even clearer that Germany has really changed course, otherwise they would have gone hand in hand in this.
Well done Germany and shame on you all the way home Macron – court jester.
Above all Germany’s help will probably, together with the USA and Poland, have been decisive.
Poland and Ukraine are now completely united and the two countries have a very complicated past – the adults in the room, some say.
Macron is still stuck in elementary school.
Rybar has probably read the thread, violent offensive, hornet swarm, drone swarms.
Sounds exactly like Ukraine this.
The thread is also somewhat of the opinion that now is the time and that if UA does not achieve something decisive the war can be prolonged and the situation worsened.
We have not yet seen any offensive but the thread was early with mid-April which I think everyone is talking about now?
It’s fun that Ukraine has planned according to the thread 👍
(I have self-awareness)

If you want to be positively depressed a little, there were many opportunities to avoid this war, first before the offensive started and then last summer/early autumn if UA had already been equipped, which we hoped they had done.
Now unfortunately there is only one way forward and Ukraine will pay the full price but everything else is worse.
My money is on the Russian side being in worse shape than we think and that UA has taken more hits than we dare hope for.
It is easy to forget and a period of calm and killer snail rampages makes you worried.
Remember then that UA has beaten the Russian horde before, Kiev came directly, then Kharkiv and after that Kherson, Izyum and Lyman.
The only retreat UA has made was Lysychansk and in three months of wild fighting the Russians have achieved zero.
It’s lucky that Ukraine believes in themselves and has done so since the start of the war 😀
