I can’t see any hidden motive behind France’s willingness to increase support to Ukraine?
As a country, they are choosing to stick their necks out quite a bit right now, and even if it gives them advantages in a future EU and more arms contracts, that’s probably okay?
They were the country that sold the most weapons to Ukraine after 2014.
I must admit that I find it quite difficult to understand France, but if they act fairly, it is by definition okay, until they no longer do.
Macron is as unpredictable as a great war leader as Zelensky was, but right now he is taking the lead when Scholz, Biden, Sunak, and others do not dare to. He also has subversive activities and internal opinion to consider just like everyone else, right?

They have also sent a new support package with a large number of AMX-10s as well as artillery.
It is open to all other European leaders to also speak out and strategic_communication_makes_a_difference – should it be so infinitely difficult to understand that.
Moreover, Scholz has now started to utter the forbidden words -negotiation- and -ceasefire- just like Orban,
Erdogan and Slovakia. That defection is currently in deep red.
Do you think Macron has understood that Scholz is compromised and that this is a critical situation?
Kristersson could have given exactly the same speech, right?
France is now burning all chances for future cooperation with Russia, and I think that says a lot about where Russia is heading because France has historically been quite Russia-friendly.
Germany, on the other hand, is becoming a standing joke like a leaking sieve.

Then I want to highlight that Finland, which has made diplomacy with Russia its national sport and has never angered the genetically defective two-headed eagle, has now stated that Russia is a threat to the entire civilized world.

If Sweden were to echo what Finland says, we wouldn’t have done more than them, right? And when it comes to walking among Russian mines, Finland is world-leading at that. I think Sweden could well raise the tone a couple of notches, but I also know that it is very un-Swedish.
But what we see right now is very un-French and un-Finnish as well, isn’t it, and it is an extraordinary situation. The fact is that now every leader in the West with a bit of integrity should start leading as if it is war, because it is a war with Russia right now.
Many have missed that the Houthis have sunk a ship in the Red Sea, it’s not exactly war headlines, right?
If Singapore leaks via the Bulgarians that the US is already flying advanced jets inside Ukraine, isn’t that the first step in normalizing flying Western aircraft inside Ukraine?
This appears to be the first destroyed HIMARS platform.

Yesterday was a source of great joy because the ammunition has arrived at the fronts, god of war has returned.

Today we immediately saw an increase in the daily death toll, you can feel the difference.
The Russians have for a long time been able to move forward calmly to assembly points, UFA, and then roll up the defense systems for those not pushed out by the local defense.
Since the offensives will continue until the election, March will become a veritable bloodbath where they are pushed out during the buildup again and the assembly points are taken out in depth already.
This will save Ukrainian soldiers’ lives and greatly increase Russian losses.
There should now be a deadly front-line pre-attack and deep targets as usual.
Then Ukraine, as is well known, has countless drones, initially they were to build one million and now two million. According to earlier reports, they have also secured their own drones with EW and developed effective EW against Russian drones. If they pool their capabilities, they have the advantage at a front section.

At the next offensive, they have already told us that the mines are a nuisance but manageable.
A stream of armored vehicles has now arrived, and together with the brigades pulled out for rest and weapon maintenance, Ukraine has a mechanized offensive reserve.
We have gone through this scenario countless times, but the drone weapon together with indirect capabilities cannot be stopped by the Russians, and on today’s battlefield their elite forces will be destroyed already when they are up and moving on the highway.
Ukraine is now working overtime to get rid of FAB bombers and it is going well.
They have decimated air defense, artillery, and radar enormously hard, and a few months ago we learned that all Zoopark radars have been taken out, all of them. Russia is getting increasingly poor overview of the battlefield.
Their EW weapons are effective against RU drones and their own drones cannot be countered by EW.
UA has announced that they have produced 200,000 front-line FPV drones since the turn of the year, and they should last quite a while one would guess.
This was, as said, yesterday the only time you will see Budanov smile and survive.

Yes, Jens Nylander has not exactly become a national celebrity, and if it had been Mexico, he would probably have been found hanging from a highway bridge.
Some countries have managed to change, but it’s not the easiest. Some municipalities are well-managed – the one I live in has excellent public services and infrastructure without needing Robin Hood taxes or running a deficit. They also don’t burn a lot of money on things outside the core mission. And then probably a lot of very rich farmers are part of the tax base 😀
In wintertime, the roads are plowed every morning regardless of how much snow has fallen – there you go.

Think like this – if your entire workplace, your colleagues, your immediate boss, and the office manager all agree and think you are wrong – do you still stand your ground?
If Scholz had done that his whole life, he would never have become Reich Chancellor, right?
He has gotten where he is by allying himself with those he reasonably thinks will benefit his career like most politicians.
To then suddenly go against absolutely everyone on such a peripheral issue as sending Taurus to Ukraine when the entire West is sending all the weapons they can, that gives infinite goodwill, it gives Germany popularity and jobs – then it’s at least a little suspicious.

I have to apologize that it gets quite off-topic for a while 😐
The discussions continue of course down here – “The EU is falling apart, everything will crash, Germany is heading straight down.” “The EU is a fascist state” – that’s how it sounds from some locals (eagerly encouraged by the Peruvian, of course, who never misses a chance, that thief).
And then the classic “The USA and EU want the war in Ukraine, it will never end.” Johan No.1 – “but Russia could leave today, then there would be peace immediately?”, The Peruvian jumps in – “guess if the USA returned territories they took from Mexico” (in the 1800s…).
I see a completely different reality but I also see another reality they never see where I live in a small town a few hours from Stockholm – hard-working citizens who are finding it increasingly difficult but who keep going, they turn down the heat, they have a car, the children’s training is important and they piece together food, Christmas and clothes as best they can.
These hard-working citizens cannot be considered responsible for anything by original sin but through taxation they have contributed, for example, to the financing of UNRWA where half had over 100,000 USD in salary (or maybe more?).
The point is coming 😀
In Sweden, we like to complain about corruption in the social insurance agency or the epidemic fraud with grants from the adult education council but “ordinary Swedes behave themselves.” I give you Jens Nylander and the endemic invoice fraud in municipalities, county councils, state and municipally owned companies and corporations. I follow him and my blood pressure has risen dangerously – yes, I understand that it is his business he is selling but he reports facts and one incorrect invoice is one too many, and he has found many billions in incorrect payments. In some cases, it seems to be outright charlatans invoicing the state and municipalities.
There are good reasons for those who live in my small town to vote for parties that do not want to raise their taxes to do more good in the world or anything other than the core mission for state and municipality. Unsurprisingly, S, SD and M are the most popular but I have never heard the slightest politics in society at all or the usual bitterness – people keep going.
Unfortunately, Russia can play on both problems – there is currently a HUGE influence campaign against West Africa and those are the arguments I am now forced to listen to.
There is also a huge influence campaign within the EU and it is not entirely unfounded – I have quite a lot of understanding if the inhabitants of my small town feel betrayed.
Do these hard-working parents with small children who barely make ends meet really have original sin and also the obligation to “save the whole world”?
At the risk of drawing some criticism, someone has written that “the left needs a host body to survive” and that is a big generalization but some groups and organizations have made it their business to shame others into paying for them, and when they have received money they heap criticism on those who pay.
Something I have learned during my travels around the world is that everyone takes the money, promises what you want to hear, delivers nothing and laughs all the way to the bank. Swedish aid in Angola often went straight into the pockets of the elite one way or another and the residents of the small town where I live loyally paid for that every month in taxes. The rich elite was considered a natural law and then I was some kind of object of envy down there – compared to the elite I was at best a shoeshiner.
The EU needs to start setting limits both internationally and at home, our political parties regardless of color have behaved very badly since sometime in the 90s and this is not very difficult – identify the core mission and adjust the tax collection to that, the rest the citizens keep.
Run a policy that is adapted for the majority population and provide resources to vulnerable groups, the providers (those who pay taxes) will never complain about that. Those who shout the loudest that they are oppressed or forgotten groups rarely are – they make a career out of it. All the disabled, lonely elderly-elderly, injured, burned out, overweight, pathologically shy, mental problems, social phobia (regardless of ethnic origin!!!) – those who no one sees and who have no voice, they get pushed out in the race for support.
Set a hard line against Russia that is impossible to break through and keep the sanctions – clean up corruption in the banking system, clean up subversive activities, clean up among the criminal gangs’ and clans’ “enablers” and so on. Make it difficult to be a person who needs a host body – make it attractive to be a providing person in society.
I have long argued, after having lived abroad since 1999, that when we actively recruit diversity to municipalities and state we must also accept that other values make their entrance and corruption is as accepted as a glass of water in many places I have worked – now I think we are there in Sweden, Encrochat and the Brå report suggest that.
As I wrote yesterday, the EU has a huge chance to catch up here going forward but there must be a will to do right and it is not particularly difficult – keywords like core mission and majority society are important. Fine words about world conscience to fleece parents with small children who barely get by is yesterday’s big fraud.
As long as we don’t pull ourselves together, Russia above all will be able to continue sowing division in the West and we should not for a second believe that they, or China, will care the least about humanitarian disasters in Africa.
Should the West then take responsibility again?
Will the West take responsibility again?
Everything takes time and sometimes there is an accelerated schedule as now with Ukraine but this is what the leaders in the West and the EU should occupy themselves with full time, nothing else.
Not everything is black and white and the above can be read in different ways but somewhere the positive work must start internally in the EU and how the EU tackles the world situation.
It is with nothing less than dismay that I have witnessed the West’s actions in the Ukraine war so far and as positive as one is, one naturally believes that 2024 is the year when everything turns around. The greatest danger is that rogue states misinterpret the signs and will increase their activity. If we cross a certain line (which we will not in 2024!) the whole West will be drawn into a third global conflict and the whole world will enter a war economy again.
The US fleet at the end of WW2 was 64,000 ships – take that!
I myself think that my roadmap above would be the easiest thing in the world to implement but then I immediately remember any group project in school and how everything always crashed on the first day so you had to do all the work yourself.
