I would like to ask a question because I am curious about some creative thinking so I can ponder further and there are many of you who know your stuff – if this is OT, LW can remove the post as usual.

We have reached a point where we can put X thousand SEK into savings per month for retirement.
My thoughts are around monthly savings in funds and stocks with annual dividends, like the list of best dividend payers per year. I only know that I took a student loan in 1999 and invested in stocks, lost everything, and since then have not invested in the stock market/funds at all.

We have tried renting out a vacation home and felt that it cost more than it was worth, so we are not interested in buying more.

– Are there advantages to opening a brokerage account in Sweden versus, for example, the UK?
– It would be fun to reach a point where one could live as a retiree on the returns, is that possible with an investment horizon of 15 years or is longer needed?
– I opened a limited company sometime ago that might be used in the future and the description included acquiring and owning shares – advantages or disadvantages of owning shares in a limited company?

Other ideas, any kind 😀
