  1. An increased already very high Russian offensive pressure in some front sections in the north and south. Continued Russian focus in Donetsk with very intense offensive pressure in Pokrovsk, and strong offensive pressure in Huliaipole. To a greater extent, the Ukrainian offensive pressure decreased, to a still very high level. Overall, the total and ratio decreased.

  2. Romania confirmed yesterday that it was a Russian Shahed-type drone that hit a residential building earlier.

“Romania confirms Russian Shahed-type drone behind earlier strike on residential building.
“The evidence identified at the scene is structurally and functionally identical to those recovered… in previous incidents involving Geran-2 type unmanned aerial vehicles,” the country’s Defense Ministry said.”

The 3rd Army Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has officially declared that key towns and logistical routes across occupied Luhansk are now under the operational control of Ukrainian drones. Defying Moscow’s claims of total dominance in the region, the corps’ unmanned systems battalion launched a targeted campaign stretching up to 205 kilometers deep into occupied territory. **

A commander of the Ukrainian military intelligence’s (HUR) Deep Strike unit, call-sign “Vector,” revealed that Ukraine routinely deploys hundreds of decoy drones during its long-range strike campaigns inside Russian territory. This fleet includes empty dummy aircraft alongside specially configured jet-powered drones engineered to trick Russian radar operators into seeing them as oncoming missiles. **

    1. They are smart, necessity is the mother of invention, as the saying goes, and Ukraine comes up with so many smart things, both technically with their various types of weapons and then through their way of acting. Luckily they are on our side ……

  5. Ukrainian drones control airspace over Russian logistic routes in occupied Luhansk Oblast, 3rd Army Corps says. “Luhansk, Starobilsk, Alchevsk, Brianka, and Kadiivka are now under the control of the Third Army Corps’ unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs),” Brigadier General Andrii Biletskyi said.

Ukrainian military strikes ‘key logistics hubs’ in occupied Donetsk Oblast. “The strike locations are situated at the junctions of major railway lines and road networks. In other words, the attacks targeted key logistics hubs where the enemy had been concentrating personnel and resources for further offensive operations,” the 413th Regiment of the Unmanned Systems Forces said.

  6. ** More than half the world’s sanctioned oil vessels run the risk of causing serious environmental harm, the Financial Times (FT) reported on May 31, citing leading ship recycler Anil Sharma.

Russia and other oil producers under sanctions operate a so-called shadow fleet of aging, often underinsured tankers to bypass international trade restrictions. Western officials have also raised concerns that Moscow’s vessels may be linked to broader Russian hybrid activities in Europe, including espionage and drone operations. **

8. Off-Topic, the war in Iran

“Over the weekend, the USA has carried out several attacks on Iranian military targets, reports several media outlets. The American military command Centcom states that it has responded to ‘aggressive Iranian actions’ and mentions, among other things, that an American drone was shot down over international waters.

‘American fighter jets responded quickly by taking out Iranian air defense systems, a control station, and two attack drones that posed a clear threat to ships in the region,’ the statement says.

Iran states that it has responded to the US attacks with targeted strikes against American targets. It is not clear where these attacks were carried out, but this morning air raid sirens sounded in Kuwait.

The attacks come as Donald Trump tries to pressure Iran into agreeing to a deal. Both the USA and Iran have carried out attacks against each other since the ceasefire came into effect in early April.”

“Kuwait’s military states that it has shot down hostile rockets and drones fired during the morning, reports several media outlets. Air raid sirens are said to have sounded in large parts of the country, writes AFP.

In a statement, the military says that residents who hear explosions are hearing the sound of the country’s air defense.

It is unclear what has happened, but in a separate statement, Iran’s Revolutionary Guard states that it has targeted American targets in the Middle East.”

You cannot trust the USA, and Iran will not agree to a deal that is bad for Iran. This is what Iran’s chief negotiator Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf says in a statement following reports that President Donald Trump has tightened the USA’s demands in a proposed deal on the table, according to Reuters.

After several weeks of tough negotiations, Trump’s changes now risk delaying an agreement between the warring parties, writes the news agency.

    – We will not approve any deal until we are sure that the rights of the Iranian people have been respected, says the chief negotiator on state television.

The USA wants, among other things, to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons and to open the Strait of Hormuz. Iran wants, among other things, the USA to release billions in frozen assets and to sit down at the negotiating table to talk about the Iranian nuclear energy program.

“US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has spoken with Lebanon’s President Joseph Aoun and the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to provide an update on the peace talks. This is reported by an American source to Reuters.

The USA has presented a proposal on how the warring parties can come closer. Initially, it concerns Hezbollah refraining from all attacks against Israel. In return, the USA wants Israel not to escalate the situation in Beirut.

The Lebanese president is said to have wanted to go even further, but the country’s speaker demands that Israel stop its attacks first.”

  9. “Russian drones have started targeting civilian regional buses in Kherson, Ukraine, reports the BBC.

    – It’s not fun to work here. It happens almost every day, says bus driver Anatoliy, whose bus was hit by a drone earlier in May. Eight passengers were injured.

According to the local bus company, three drivers have been killed in attacks this year. The drivers have now begun to be equipped with bulletproof vests and helmets. The buses have been fitted with technology that can warn when a drone is approaching. According to the BBC, however, this only helps partially, since there is no way to stop the drones even if they are detected in time. Instead, bus drivers are instructed to stop and lead passengers to the nearest shelter.” https://omni.se/bussar-maltavlor-i-kherson-inte-kul-att-jobba-har/a/ArEwa5

  10. “The EU customs duty soon to be introduced on goods from China and other countries outside the union is expected to have a significant impact on Swedes’ e-commerce habits. This is stated by the Swedish Customs in a press release based on a new Novus survey.

In the survey, 54 percent of Swedes say that such a duty would often or always be a decisive factor in avoiding the purchase. For 22 percent of Swedes, the duty would not have much significance for their buying patterns.

Carina Asplund, acting head of the Customs control department, still finds it surprising that so many see the customs duty as manageable. She believes this can partly be explained by a lack of knowledge about the regulatory change. If the package costs less than 150 euros, the customs duty is 3 euros – per item in the package.

    – So if you order several different types of goods at the same time, there will be a customs duty on each individual item, regardless of whether they are in the same package.

The duty will be introduced on July 1.”

“Russia is training detained Ukrainian children to fight, and then sending them into battle against Ukraine. This is claimed by President Volodymyr Zelensky in an interview with CBS News published on Sunday.

    – These children are being taught to hate their homeland and its inhabitants, says Zelensky.

He states that Ukraine has evidence supporting the accusation, but does not want to disclose what type of evidence it concerns.

As recently as March, Yale University published a report confirming that detained Ukrainian children have been taken to Russia and undergone ‘re-education’ as well as military training. The interview with CBS is the first time Zelensky has made the same accusations publicly.”

  12. Analysis: Ukrainian drones make military bloggers in Russia depressed

Ukraine is conducting a successful campaign of medium-range drone attacks that are causing serious problems for the Russian front’s supply lines. This is written by Jimmy Rushton in an analysis in Kyiv Independent.

These are American Hornet drones that have been upgraded with Starlink terminals by Ukrainian soldiers, making them significantly harder for Russia to jam. According to Rushton, the attacks have, among other things, made it difficult for Russian units to get enough fuel to their vehicles.

Russian military bloggers sound almost depressed, according to Rushton. One of them writes that if the situation does not improve, Russian logistics will completely collapse in the coming months.

“For once, it seems that Russians and Ukrainians agree – the situation for the Russian military in occupied Ukraine will only get worse.”

In the New York Times, David E Sanger writes that the successful drone attacks have made Ukraine feel empowered, but they may not expect any help from the White House when it comes to achieving a peace agreement.

“Trump has repeatedly predicted that a deal is near, and it has repeatedly proven to be untrue.”

  13. Off-Topic, attack attempts on the website in the last seven days

I wonder if it’s because I criticize Trump that the USA is at the top? 🤔😄

      1. They have no food, no jobs, and a terror regime that kills the citizens.

So that it doesn’t feel like a good Saturday with that revenge, we have to come up with something really awful 😡

  14. I think we are beginning to sense the beginning of the end.

No troops, no water, and in the middle of midsummer it will become critical.

The brigades at the Dnieper do not have many vehicles – a retreat will be interesting to see.

The whole ordeal and then Ukraine in Sevastopol + thousands of prisoners. Bad publicity for Putin.

  15. Road of Death, DPR, LPR, Taganrog, Rostov.

    Road transports are burning everywhere.

The ferries to Crimea are sunk and the bridge is unusable.

What you don’t hear are the frontline FPV drones that are still grinding away at everything at the fronts.

RU has already tried to bring in anti-drone capability behind the southern front but it doesn’t help.

Technological superiority always has an expiration date but this is enough to decide.

As we guessed, RU continues the offensive against Slovyansk-Kramatorsk, so double death for them.

If Trump or Europe don’t manage to stop this, Crimea will be lost.

  16. ** Rybar:

    • The bulk of the raids fell on the refining and oil transport infrastructure. Air defense systems intercepted drones both in the central and southern regions of the country.
    • In the middle of May, the AFU carried out the most massive attack on the Moscow region in the entire period of the SVO. Over several days, almost a thousand UAVs were intercepted on the approach to the capital.
    • Near the end of the month, Ukrainian formations resumed attacks on oil refineries and other oil infrastructure objects in the south of Russia and in the Volga region simultaneously with the intensification of strikes on Novorossiya.
    • This led to the introduction of restrictions on the movement of civilian cars in the Kherson region and the sale of fuel in Crimea.

When counting Ukrainian attacks on the rear, it is important to take into account that the number of drones attacking new regions of Russia is not included in the statistics of raids, so the total figure is clearly more than 7,3 thousand UAVs.

    • The main campaign of the AFU in the first half of the month was focused on the capital region, for which massive UAV raids were carried out to break through the corridor towards Moscow. In the second half, the AFU intensified attacks on transport arteries in Novorossiya.
    • The number of drones used is increasing from month to month, so there’s no point in hoping that the enemy will soon run out of means of destruction. At the same time, a missile component may be added to the drone component in the coming months. **

  17. UA mines the distance and has fire control over the roads behind the southern front.

When RU special forces have to advance later – not possible.

Russian retreat later – not possible.

    1. Reduced Russian and Ukrainian pressure, total and also ratio.

A Ukrainian offensive wave has hit the beach. Almost as strong as the previous wave two to three weeks ago in early/mid May.

The Russian pressure as usual focused around Pokrovsk / Huliaipole.
