400th day of the war. Address of Volodymyr Zelenskyy to Ukrainians

I wish you health, dear Ukrainians. 400 days. 400 days of our defense against full-scale aggression. This is a colossal path that we have traveled all together. Everyone, man and woman, who fought and fights for Ukraine, who cared and cares for the state and Ukrainians, who helped and helps our logistics, who strengthened and strengthens Ukrainian resilience. Ukraine passed the most terrible days of that February. We also endured this winter. Colossal effort lies behind these words.

We passed last year's spring, which changed the course of this war in favor of our defense. Last summer and autumn, we proved that the spring liberation of our northern regions was not an accident. The battle for Kyiv, Chernihiv, Zatsumshchyna, the return of districts of our Kharkiv region, the return of Kherson, the defense of Bakhmut, the Donbas in general. This is the heroism of Ukrainians, whom the world will not forget.

We are preparing our next steps, our active actions, we are preparing the approach of our victory. Where is the strength of Ukraine? If your intentions are good, the whole world will be on your side, it will help you. Today, on the 400th day of resistance, full-scale resistance. I want to thank everyone in the world who is with Ukraine, who shares our interpretation of freedom, who supports our striving for justice, who has the same strong confidence as we, Ukrainians, have.

Confidence that the world must be based on rules, on civilized rules, on rules of humanity, respect, and peace. That is why Ukraine will win. Because freedom and justice, humanity and respect, and the peace deserved by the people must prevail. I thank all our soldiers and sailors, all our sergeants and senior non-commissioned officers, all our officers and generals. I thank every person who holds this front. The front of defending the best that there is in humanity.

The front of defending the best that there is in us, with you, our Ukraine. United, unbreakable, and forever free. I thank everyone who is now in battle. I thank every person who fights in such a way as to protect both themselves and those comrades who are in neighboring positions.

I thank every person who cares for our brave warriors. I thank everyone who protects our cities and restores normal life where it was disrupted by Russia with its aggression, its terror. I also thank everyone who helps the daughters and sons, wives and husbands, mothers and fathers of our people, warriors and civilians, whose lives were taken by this war, by Russia. Ukraine will win on the front. Ukraine will win in reconstruction. Ukraine will win in the return of justice. We will leave no trace of Russia on our land and we will also leave no enemy unpunished.

We are preparing news regarding this. This day, which, like any of the 400, was maximally active for me, in contact with commanders, with intelligence, in meetings regarding the internal situation; I made another appeal to the parliament of a partner country, to the Austrian parliament. I thank Austria for the fact that Ukraine has been heard. Productive meetings with the delegation of the German defense concern "Rheinmetall".

I thank the partners for their readiness to cooperate with us even more meaningfully. Tomorrow will also be maximally active. We will do everything so that the day comes sooner when I can thank you, dear Ukrainians, for our victory with you. Glory to the Ukrainian heroes! Glory to Ukraine!
