Ukraine’s Drone Chief: Putin is Sending 300,000 Troops to the Slaughter | Exclusive
Ukrainian drone operations are shifting from tactical battlefield targets to deep strikes within Russia to disrupt war financing and production while challenging the concept of a secure rear.

We are ready to meet those unlimited portions of stewed meat. Although I will emphasize once again. So, while you and I are sitting here, observing. Meaning, we started the interview, what was the number, don't you remember? 167. Well, while we spoke the first sentence, there are already 18 faggots. LSO ended its story. From now on, this number will simply grow more dynamically. This will not seem like an ordinary walk. For us. A few more faggots were added.
Speaker 2
207. Team Browdie, thank you very much for your time and the meeting. I wanted to ask you, earlier this month President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Russian routes will be de facto finished as a result of Ukrainian drones. Can you tell me what this says about the success of the Ukrainian destruction campaign? And what will actually be the effect on Russia from this completed aerospec, including its battalion-film performance and morale?
Speaker 1
The main campaign, including with the help of drones, takes place at the tactical level, directly on the battlefield. There, where drones today hit over 85% of targets. We are talking about those sections of the front where the enemy physically tries daily to increase the occupied territories by capturing new kilometers of Ukrainian land. 95% of the efforts of our grouping of unmanned systems forces are directed specifically at the tactical level of the front line. And only 5% relate to strikes in depth, in the operational and strategic depths. Deep strikes primarily aim to transfer the war to the territory of the occupying country. Because Russia conducted all previous wars in such a way that its civilian population did not feel direct proximity to the war. In 2026, this situation changed with the Ukrainian bird. Deep operations have effectively destroyed the concept of a secure rear throughout the European part of Russia. Their objectives are absolutely obvious. First of all, it is the impact on the sources of financing the war, the impact on weapon production, the impact on the moral and psychological state of the Russian population, who, by the way, are holding elections today. Elections, that is, are conducted without them, but at this moment, as we speak, September 20, exactly today. The last point of the next prolonged impunity Putin will receive based on the results of the elections, for which, with the easy hand of electronic assistants, the results of those elections were announced several weeks ago. The psychological barrier of Depth has been successfully overcome and has been repeatedly confirmed daily by deep-strike attacks carried out by the Defense Forces of Ukraine. And today, September 20, you are observing perhaps the most massive attack on MIC and EEC enterprises directly in Moscow, 15 kilometers from the Kremlin. This is precisely evidence of a new doctrine of war, which was created specifically during Russia's aggression against Ukraine, built up over these few years, and effectively reshaped the image of modern war. A country without a fleet is stopping the enemy's merchant fleet, which is the main source of money for the war. A defending country is conducting an unprecedented project of a remote operation in Crimea, without involving a single land unit, with the aim of blocking Crimea. A country that did not prepare for war is striking far beyond the Urals and, while defending, I repeat once more, is transferring the war to the side of Russia, whose people only knew about it from the television. From Kyiv, it did not happen in three days.
Speaker 2
In this chat, there is a discussion this year about possible strikes on energy targets from Russia to Ukraine. I am asking, if such strikes occurred, would Ukraine have the ability to respond with an effective form of destruction against Russia and what targets could there be?
Speaker 1
Perhaps, from the achievements of the Ukrainian bird and Ukrainian pilots. Existing capabilities in the form of pilots, means, experience, and the practice of conducting combat operations will allow us, as military personnel, to carry out the blocking of entire industries or territories if necessary. Accordingly, I will not comment as a politician, I will comment as a military officer. We are indeed, today, capable of performing complex tasks. When the question is raised about stimulating the opposing side toward dialogue in such a forceful manner, our task is to ensure a strong negotiating position for the politicians who are currently working on the settlement and the cessation, or at least the partial cessation, of fire between the parties to the war.
Speaker 2
I want to speak in these military dialects. Of course, you respond accordingly to the performance of Ukrainian drone dialects. And I wanted to ask you, at what point, after completion, did you deploy the drones that took steps over the war?
Speaker 1
I have already dwelt on this issue a lot. Drones have changed the course of the war, replacing entire types of weaponry, partially substituting infantry. And they already have a significant influence today on the course of the war and its result. And this is only the beginning. Because in the process of application, engineering is moving in parallel, technologies are moving in parallel, which are as close as possible to the front. And the drone is increasingly gaining the power that will subsequently leave it, if not the only, then the dominant means of influence on the front. Although human influence is and will remain decisive in decision-making, managing drones, and so on. And the intensification of technological development toward achieving full autonomy for drones carries with it a whole series of dangers. Civilian experience that entered the army at the beginning of the full-scale invasion brought with it mathematics, brought all that experience which allowed for a very prompt, let's say, fundamental change in the system of conducting combat. Mathematics lies at the basis of all this. The ability for planning and calculation, controlling execution, analyzing everything that can be done ultra-fast, without getting bogged down in searches for lengthy approvals and searches for lengthy solutions, working mobilely and promptly. This is our current advantage. Did I think about this at the beginning of the war? Of course, I didn't. We started our war defending ourselves, having no idea about the future, and looked for those means that could become effective. In this case, it was not the axe that became effective, but the drone.
Speaker 2
As you permitted, now, of course, we see the next integration of intelligence in these systems. Do you think that this is the next huge transformation of war? What can we consider?
Speaker 1
Our life has already, effectively, invisibly for us, become a digital panopticon. A concrete digital panopticon that controls practically every element of the life activity of a civilized person, a modern person. I will not say that Pandora's box is already open. I will say more narrowly that the Overton window is slightly open with this artificial intelligence at the moment. The moment when artificial intelligence absorbs the best knowledge of humanity, it also directs its efforts toward making us very quickly get used to it, moving from the non-acceptance of the future to its normalization. That is, literally in a year, such a transformation, in your words, takes place,
Unknown speaker
which,
Speaker 1
It would seem that things that were impossible or fantastical last year are becoming the norm for us. It normalizes the impossible. This is the opening of the Overton window. A very dangerous phenomenon. When we combine this phenomenon, which I have just described, with the development of unmanned and robotic systems and complexes, humanity will obtain an incredibly powerful weapon. Not only as a tool of war, but as a tool of influence on future civilization. The race for the right to establish control over artificial intelligence is worrying. And today we are witnesses to two polar worlds that cannot agree on the regulation of the issue of slowing down the development of artificial intelligence. On the contrary, the United States in this case. The President stimulates the immediate acceleration of the development of artificial intelligence. Even AI forces were created yesterday, or they were planned to be created. And China, as the second player in this entire field, does not comment at all. They simply do their work. And learning about the current state of affairs is not expected to be possible. We will only find this out as a result, when certain consequences of the influence are seen. Of course, the development of the aforementioned technologies has a direct impact on their adaptation into unmanned systems, into drones.
Speaker 2
And then
Speaker 1
the path is unknown. A demonstration of the capabilities of artificial intelligence in drones, they work in the interests of the military. According to a number of characteristics. What will happen next? It is terrible to imagine. I do not want to frighten the listeners, the viewer. This is not my task, my mission. I am simply emphasizing that humanity is losing control, in my view. Let it remain subjective regarding this link of development. Stage of development. Look, I do not like to be a follower of Nostradamus. I only rely on mathematics, in which everything is calculated absolutely transparently and is obvious. With the speed of artificial intelligence development, calculating some timeframes would be wrong. It would be only with
Speaker 2
guesses.
Speaker 1
Parallel to the war, a war of technologies is taking place. In this war of technologies, there are cycles of open windows. When one side acquires some new technology, and the other, within this short period of time, implements countermeasures. These windows open for each side as new capabilities are revealed. And they have a corresponding cyclicity, corresponding cycles. On more than one occasion during this war, various competitive opportunities opened up for each side. But the other side found countermeasures within a period of weeks to several months. The jet-powered Shahed is a window in the cycle that the Ukrainian side has not yet closed. But it is no longer a matter of developments, but of the application of the first means, which were developed very promptly by Ukrainian engineers working in close cooperation with the military at the front, with the first launches of jet anti-Shahed means and successful intercepts. Accordingly, it is a question of a certain period of time until this task is resolved.
Speaker 2
Eventually,
Speaker 1
every new challenge stimulates R&D, stimulates engineers to quickly refocus and find ways for countermeasures, which I mentioned, the development of tools,
Speaker 2
capable of overcoming this problem.
Speaker 1
It is precisely why solving these problems is much harder from a distance. Why is one of the primary focuses of the Ukrainian technological phenomenon in drones the direct proximity of engineers to the front line, where contact between the engineer and the pilot takes place without loss of time, without distance barriers, and without loss of decision-making speed?
Speaker 2
As I mentioned, we have seen, especially in different months, Russia ramping up its war on the ground, especially in international locations, further from the front, targeting commercial targets, international targets, petrol stations, border crossings. What does this say about Russia's position in the war, in your video?
Speaker 1
He cannot and will not be able to show results, regardless of mobilization efforts, which will obviously become on the agenda literally today from the moment the election results are announced, and ending with the application of some new technologies of influence directly on the front line. We are ready for this. Regarding that type of compensation—this is a very mild definition of what Putin is actually doing—it is an impact on the civilian population, terror against the civilian population, which is aimed at worsening the moral and psychological state, at making civilian life in cities impossible, at the destruction of infrastructure. This is a vile tool used by a tyrant who is unable to prove himself on the battlefield. And this is not news; it is just that now, in 1926, it has taken on a very mass character as the combat capability of the enemy army increases, since he does not stop increasing his own combat capability and, as he produces a larger quantity of means, he applies them in such an unkind way.
Putin will do this quickly; Putin will do this without proper preparation of the mobilization resource, since finally after the elections he can get to that part of the population that one does not have to ask, even though they will not be lost, whether they want to go to war or not. The exact biological material, excuse me, with whom we are fighting, consisted mostly of basic conscripts and contractors. This is, one way or another, the conditions of commercial cooperation, where you are promised money for certain services that are demanded of you. Mobilization, which as of today has already been launched, but in a hidden form, will gain legal status tomorrow, and Putin will make use of it, because he will have no obstacles left that will limit him from aggressive actions. The forced packing into wagons of biological material, excuse me, of manpower—untrained, mobilized men for the most part—who will come to Ukraine in order to perish here will begin. We expect a significant increase in manpower on the enemy's strip on the front, already starting from next month, about 300 thousand units of manpower, only during the end of 1926: October, November, December. These are the forces that are available for Putin for mobilization, their equipment, and deployment practically to the front without training. And this means there will be more killed, there will be much more work for unmanned systems. And there are no rose-colored glasses here about the fact that this will be an easy stroll. This is a trial, but we have been aware of this for some time now, because SIGINT and several other indicators pointed to this. Accordingly, we continue to prepare and will meet the enemy on the battlefield in a proper manner.
We are already feeling the increase in the number of manpower on the strip in September. This is evidenced again by mathematics and the accounting of every mission that is recorded, archived, and analyzed by us. In September alone, compared to August, the number of the enemy's destroyed personnel grew by a quarter, by 25% in the first half of September, compared to the same period in August. That is, hidden mobilization is happening right now. Putin chose an interesting moment for the implementation of mobilization, since in some time the greenery will fall, and by all the classical canons of war, attacking during the absence of greenery is, let's think, an ungrateful task. But he is in a hurry. He declares that he will quickly reach the administrative borders of Donbas. Without a doubt, he does not value the civilian population at all. This is biological material for him; this is a tool for him. Therefore, he will not wait for the new greenery of next May or anything else. He will drive his serfs in waves to the strip, and they will die in bunches, in greater numbers than they die now. Only today, as of today, the forces of my grouping kill one enemy battalion daily. Every day. While we are sitting here and observing—we started the interview, do you remember what the figure was? 167; while we spoke the first sentences, 18 bastards have already ended their story. Further, this figure will simply grow more dynamically. We are ready to meet those unlimited portions of stewed meat. I will emphasize once again, this will not seem like an ordinary stroll for us. This is a field of battle, and there is a history of war that must be constantly analyzed. Since December 1925, Putin has had no excessive successes on the battlefield equivalent to the costs of manpower, equipment, resources, time, and finances. Accordingly, those rose-colored dreams that he has declared many times regarding the deadlines for the capture of this or that territory, I am sure, will remain a dream. Our work will not become any less because of that. Instead of predicting a date for Putin, let's observe the correspondence of what he said to factual deeds.
In our case, again, using the example of a whole series of operations, it has become absolutely obvious that we are aided precisely by such informational silence. Maintaining which in a civilized world, completely provided for technologically up to OSINT, to the speed of information dissemination, and so on, it is becoming harder and harder to keep that silence. It is precisely at the moment of maintaining silence that we achieve the best success. And there is an absolutely obvious explanation for this. The enemy is not coping with the tasks assigned to him and is forced to lie to his senior command, inventing successes. Thereby, effectively giving us the opportunity, quietly and without information spreads, to work out sectors and even advance, executing a whole series of operations which even today, September 20, are taking place to achieve certain goals, doing it as quietly as possible. And let the enemy continue to hide the real state of affairs from its command. This suits us absolutely. In turn, the digitalization of war allows us on our side not to encounter those surprises when you find out that land that is considered ours turns out not to be ours. The spread of this practice in all troops has not just been initiated; it is already in the process of implementation. Surprises from our side—surprises from our side are made practically impossible. We know what is happening on the front line, now, today, here, on a specific section.
Speaker 2
Actually, we have seen that a negotiation track is taking place between Russia, Russia and Ukraine. I wanted to ask if you have insight into this track, and if you believe that Vladimir Putin can negotiate with him.
Speaker 1
I do not believe in the end of the war, even under the conditions of an agreement on a suspension regime. I do not see the possibility of its end on the battlefield. Understanding that the terms of the war's continuation are uncertain. Understanding those resource and mobilization advantages Putin currently has. Understanding Ukraine's limited mobilization potential, my actions are aimed at resolving the following issues. First, the preservation of personnel. Second, increasing fire destruction directly at the tactical level, where Putin is currently sending updated manpower in increased numbers. It is aimed, first and foremost, at the destruction of enemy personnel, because right now there is fundamentally no question of large tank assaults or any other mechanized ones. Third, keeping windows open for penetration by aerial means into the enemy's depth. Because for deep strikes to work, middle strikes must work. Middle strikes are those that provide the passage channel, that open window into Europe, conditionally speaking, an open window that allows flying regularly, far and in large numbers. Many more points could be listed here, but they are all aimed at creating a strong position through the influence of weapons, developing a strong position for the Ukrainian political establishment in those negotiations, without assessing the capabilities of American political influence on this story. After all, I don't know what's in their heads.
Speaker 2
Ukraine from European flights, include Britain, mentioned the end with certain attacks and armaments in their countries, provocative from Russia. Do you think that Britain and other Natalies at home each react to these attacks? And are they ready to remember this international warfare?
Speaker 1
I don't know exactly which alarm your question is referring to. Literally yesterday in Copenhagen, at the Great 30 or however many top NATO generals were there, it was stated that NATO is ready for the eastern threat, which, obviously, since it is eastern, turns out to be potentially from Russia. I would have been ready to joke about this if everything weren't so serious. After all, setting aside the rhetoric of concern or meditating on the subject of future threats, NATO remains a weak player. And the limited mobility of NATO on this issue, both due to its size and differing views, will always be a significant stumbling block. NATO will always have its own Orbans. Always, and without breaks between cycles. Today it is Fico, who says that if you look, NATO has been provoking Russia for four years to continue the war in Ukraine. Tomorrow it will be some German influences, French influences, and their own agenda, which now lies in the plane of the politics of NATO member countries. NATO "Orbans," in other words, hinder and will continue to hinder the strengthening of NATO to the point where even Putin's potential threats should seem impossible for him to carry out. In other words, NATO must modernize its approach, at least to defense, so quickly that Putin cannot even calculate plans to try and enter some part of NATO with provocations or specific actions. When we hear how NATO comments on the appearance of drones there, near the borders of Romania, Romania, near the Baltic states, in Germany, in some other countries, and comments on it as an accident, I want to tell you something absolutely obvious. A drone is a very precise tool when it works in an ecosystem and is aimed at provocation or a strike. It is a big mistake to consider this an accident. Searching for explanations for these phenomena as a way to delay the adoption of serious decisions, fundamental decisions, works against NATO. When at the beginning of the war the whole world first smiled, and then laughed at the claim of Putin's army being number two in the world, I tell you, later there will be no room for humor. Because during Russia's war against Ukraine, Russia is gaining such a technological, numerical, and armed momentum that it will eventually correspond to that status. I have a rhetorical question here for NATO generals. Will you definitely be able to cope with that? They may not answer. It's a matter of time. This is the moment when technologies have already reached a level that allows drones to be sent to a depth of 3,000 kilometers today. Here, the limit is restricted by a short period of time and the improvement of equipment. And it should be remembered that this is perhaps an example of the most asymmetric story of influence in the world relative to the cost of the means and forces used to achieve them. And here it is worth emphasizing that this is mutual. Russians are also developing their technologies at a very astronomical pace. Bridging the gap for NATO countries regarding the future challenge is a very problematic issue. I will constantly return to NATO, because, firstly, this is your audience, and secondly, it is a question of our further existence for the conscious part of the world as a whole. Delay in decision-making is simply deadly. If we move beyond talking only in slogans, we are offering an absolutely clear, pragmatic, and constructive agenda for partners today. Guided by the interaction that has arisen between us and the partners on one hand, and guided by our own experience over a long period of time and effectively a large database of the war that has occurred, we are today providing NATO with the opportunity to gain the necessary experience and very quickly adapt to the realities of the current war. The primary five steps for each country in terms of its preparation and defense have been published and conveyed to all participating partners. Returning to the creation of unmanned system forces in each NATO country, on the day the former UK government announced the creation of unmanned system forces, everyone at my command post gave a standing ovation. Then the government in Britain changed, something slowed down, was altered, decided on some other path, and the loss of time continues again, although Britain has absolute capabilities to become the main provider here. You understand, I told you about the important competitive advantage of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, when we conduct an operation in silence. So, I will give you an inside tip from the NATO countries' environment. Four countries are already busy developing the architecture for creating unmanned system forces in their own countries. Only none of them are making it public, and I absolutely support this. This is the right step. First do, then speak. Otherwise, there will be the British example. They announced it, encountered opposition that sees it differently, and rolled it back unproductively.
Unknown speaker
Thank you,
Speaker 1
I will certainly not comment on your internal politics. I can comment to you, knowing the purity of the experiment, that all serious matters are done in silence. That is a fact. If you are not sure that you will not change your mind under pressure from the opposition, it is better not to announce, but simply to do. Having the authority to do so. But look, Britain is a serious player in NATO. This is undeniable. Understanding the complexities and the number of Orbáns in NATO, Britain has an alternative path. Because there are alternative platforms that already exist. One of them is a platform called JEF. This is a form of union that does not include Orbáns. I apologize for constantly returning to him, having Hungarian roots and remembering the times of his power. And it gathered like-minded people around itself and includes countries. That JEF includes countries that border a potential adversary, an enemy from the side of Belarus and Russia. Efforts to prepare the borders within at least this formation, this JEF community, will allow one to be more responsive and fast.
Speaker 2
I
Speaker 1
I don't know the legal side of this issue once more. It is political in nature. I am saying that nothing is happening where we could be involved and useful. And if we are not involved, accordingly, the process moves according to some separate scenario, and it's not a fact that it's wrong. Because the most correct thing is to gain experience from the current war and implement it in one's own troops. That's logical. Accordingly, we are talking here about a pause or a slowdown. Let's not make sensational headlines. That is wrong. I am a citizen of another country. After all, I am biased because I am a military man. Right now I am focused on Ukraine's fight against the occupier. To interfere and influence English politics – no. But without sharp headlines, I have called things by their names. This is the truth. You can refer to this. A precedent must be created that will stir all others to active action, do you understand?
Speaker 2
And we are homeless without this.
Speaker 1
This is precisely it, these are slogans. A position of seeking an explanation instead of active actions will not be a strong position in the event of escalation on the part of Russia. In the event of escalation.
Speaker 2
And how do you feel this escalation as a result of the war and your very central role in
Speaker 1
…this? During the war, the only thing it probably added was art therapy. Because it allows one to unwind and refocus from time to time. That's the first thing. Secondly – to introduce my brothers-in-arms to the world of modern art, those who previously, in principle, knew nothing about it. And now, as they are surrounded by works of art, one way or another, while distracting themselves, they become interested in things that are completely new to them. This is a cool new experience that only adds art to that foundation, adding confidence in the correctness of our movement. Art opened the world for me in a different way. Regarding Britain, most of my interests before the start of the war were precisely around art. I was at your Royal Academy of Arts on Piccadilly significantly more often than at Harrods. British art houses have become a platform for promoting contemporary Ukrainian art. Famous auction houses have become a real means of spreading contemporary Ukrainian art throughout the world. One of my dreams is being realized during the war completely without my participation, but we have not stopped the creation of an open-air sculpture park in Ukraine for a single day. Throughout the war, my partners have simply been handling it. During the war, I have only been able to pop in there once to see what is happening. I suffer a bit from this, because I would have liked to devote more time to that project, considering that it is one of the projects of a lifetime. But the project is moving forward. It is moving. It only stopped in '22, given the circumstances where there was complete uncertainty. And this helps us stay afloat. Not only me, but those around me. International or Ukrainian? Ukrainian. And my favorite artist had his 80th anniversary the day before yesterday. His name is Anatoliy Kryvolav. Unfortunately, I only congratulated him via video call because we are far apart.
Speaker 2
But
Speaker 1
At that time I was satisfied. A bit of a burst was added.
Speaker 2
27. And it was
