A Russian drone attacked an energy infrastructure facility in the Poltava region, causing power outages that affected approximately 22,000 consumers. The attack comes just two days after another Russian drone hit an energy facility in the region’s Lubny district, leaving about 6,000 consumers without electricity. Russia has increased attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure ahead of winter and has repeatedly targeted power production, transmission, and gas facilities. The war at the front lines is not going well for Russia, but unfortunately, they seem to have greater success in bombing civilian society, which of course affects everyone, including the industry that in turn supplies the military with weapons and equipment. The winter will be tough, and if Russia continues to increase its attacks, it may unfortunately prove decisive. Once again, a reminder of Power Up Ukraine for those of you who want to help Ukraine get through the winter.
Russian losses
Really high losses in today’s report. KWIA is the second highest this year and the fourth highest for the entire war. The record stands at 2,200, and for soft vehicles, 727 is a new record. The previous record of 638 was set just two weeks ago. Ukraine is really hitting Russia’s logistics hard, and sooner or later I believe it will start to have an effect. Maybe this is what we are already noticing as Ukraine now seems to have gained the upper hand in several places.

A factory and several hospitals have introduced face masks and quarantine after a suspected plague death in Russia. This is reported by Russian official sources and media according to Kyiv Independent.
Darya Shipilova worked at a plague research institute in Irkutsk. She is said to have died of pneumonic plague last Friday after accidentally breaking a container with plague bacteria a week earlier.
The official Russian information is vague. State Tass reports that Shipilova died of pneumonia “of unknown type,” according to CNN. Aleksei Tsydenov, who leads the neighboring republic of Buryatia, however says that she died of plague.
The White House is aware of the reports and is monitoring the situation, a source tells Axios.
200 people at the hospital where she was treated have been placed under observation, according to the independent Moscow Times.
Pneumonic plague can be transmitted by droplets between people, but spread is extremely rare because the disease course is so rapid and aggressive, and antibiotic treatment is available.

According to Chris Wright, Trump will decide on the introduction of sanctions against countries that buy Russian energy resources only after a thorough analysis of the consequences and compromises. First of all, this applies to China and India. **
