Russian oil terminal on fire after Ukrainian drone attacks – Russian losses etc.

A fire broke out at an oil terminal in the southern Russian city of Novorossiysk during the night following Ukrainian drone attacks, but as usual, according to Russian authorities, there were of course no direct hits. The fire was of course caused by debris after Russian air defense heroically shot down all Ukrainian drones (and probably three to four times as many). More to read here.

Ukraine has liberated 590 square kilometers so far this year and this will force Russia to negotiations according to Zelenskyy. Read more here.

Russian losses

The latest report shows that Russian losses in Ukraine continue to remain at a stable level but around a thousand dead and wounded soldiers, ten armored vehicles and a large number of artillery and vehicles for logistics among others. Four air defense systems and five special equipments are also nice to see.

  • 950 KWIA
  • 5 Tanks
  • 5 AFVs
  • 68 Artillery systems
  • 1 MLRS
  • 4 Air defense systems
  • 1819 UAVs
  • 4 UGVs
  • 210 Vehicles & fuel tanks
  • 5 Special equipments

Ukrainian Army General Staff reports

Unfortunately far too many suicide drones and KAB. Quite a high number of battles, we hope that 205 will come with a report showing that the unidentified attacks are in the majority.

  • 216 combat clashes
  • 83 aviation strikes
  • 264 KAB/CAB
  • 9,753 kamikaze drones
  • 3,195 shells (34 from MLRS)

  1. Ratio in favor of Ukraine again, with more unlocalized attacks than the sum of attacks reported per front sector, almost all of which, as almost always, have been explicitly indicated as Russian.

    1. A somewhat reduced ratio, 0.67, still higher than the elevated average of 0.5 we have seen during the spring.

I don’t know why the first sector farthest north sometimes reports clashes and not enemy as the others do, but it could be some adjutant who had special instructions during the Kursk offensive and has not returned to the regular instructions.

    2. The JavaScript that is blocked. Nothing happens when I click save, nor when I click the up arrow. The page must be reloaded. Recurring issue.

      1. How long have you had problems?

WordPress released a new version the day before yesterday, which might be related. Unfortunately, there is not much I can do other than wait for the next update. I could try to roll back to the previous version if it turns out to be a big problem for several people.

Otherwise, I have not made any changes to the site myself.

It might also be due to the ads. You can try visiting some larger well-known sites that sell things, so Google will prioritize showing ads from them instead of ads from more unknown sources.

Are there others of you who are having problems or is it working as it should? It would be good to know if it affects only a few or if it is the majority.

Please feel free to write (if you want) whether you are using a computer or mobile and if it is Apple, Windows, Android, etc.

        1. Works for me, running Firefox on Ubuntu, as well as Chrome on iPhone

But maybe it’s better if everyone with problems responds and those of us who don’t keep quiet?

          1. Well, maybe easiest to understand at the same time interesting to know the distribution. If five people have problems, and no one reports that it works, one can easily think that it is troublesome for everyone, just that not everyone takes the time to tell about it.

But I’ll do this, I’ll create a survey so we don’t have to fill the comment field.

Will get back a little later about that when I’m at the computer.

        2. The up arrow button may be new for today, but the save button appears frequently, and the bug has never really disappeared since I reported it earlier. I am currently using Safari on iPhone 15

          1. So it is partly the same old problem.

The up arrow has not changed, strange if it has started to act up now as well.

It is included as a feature in the theme. However, I have added the down arrow. Does it work as it should?

            1. Now I see that it is an iPhone 14, and the iOS version is 26.3.1

I don’t know if I have tested the up arrow before, I usually just copy the post and reload the page.

Hard to test: when the save button works, the arrow buttons probably work too. That’s why I generally suspect a javascript error.

      1. Yeah, that got a bit crazy there. 😆

Mixed up which page I was on and posted on the wrong one.

Didn’t see it until after 205 had left their comment, and then I couldn’t delete it either because then their comment would have disappeared too.

Thanks for the thumbs up! 👍👍

          1. Ah, so that was what happened. I thought I had posted in the wrong place, but then it was you who deleted your comment that I had given a thumbs up to.

I must be remembering wrong, I thought WordPress hid comments that were below if the parent was deleted, but they apparently remain and end up at the top level.
