Last night, Ukraine attacked the Engels airbase, which led to a large fire breaking out. Engels is used, among other things, for strategic bombers such as the TU-95. Read at Kyiv Independent here and a post with a video here.
Belgorod was attacked during the night and several explosions were heard from multiple directions, targeting both a logistics warehouse and energy infrastructure. However, it is not clear whether it involved a Wildberries facility. Regional authorities report that the attack damaged residential buildings, a gas pipeline, and unspecified “commercial property.” Read more here.
The Tyumen oil refinery was also attacked during the night, and it is reported that the target was a diesel purification unit. Posts here, here, and here.

Hello!! Where are you…?? It echoed empty and desolate…
You were first 👍
I am here😃
Engels again was really good news.
A fire was reported during the night of July 25, 2026, at the Russian military airbase Engels-2 in Saratov Oblast. The base is located about 600 kilometers from the Ukrainian front line and houses Russian strategic bombers.
Main points from the incident:
Unknown cause of fire: It is unclear what started the fire, but it reportedly affected a building belonging to a military unit.
No direct sign of attack: Russia’s disaster agency issued a drone warning during the night, but local residents reported that they did not hear any sounds of an attack. Monitoring channels assess that the fire is not necessarily linked to a Ukrainian remote attack.
Previous drone attacks: The airbase has been attacked several times before. As recently as July 17, Ukraine announced that they destroyed a strategic Tu-95 bomber at the base.
No official comments: Neither Russian nor Ukrainian authorities have currently commented on the night’s incident.
Now it is morning in the Dominican Republic 😀👍
205, replied to you yesterday, good tone of course.
Suggested moving to Gävle, which many might perceive as an extreme insult but it was said with a twinkle in the eye.
MXT couldn’t resist and tried to bait me with something but since I have the self-discipline of a Catholic priest around the children’s choir, I never took the bait 👍
At least now the subject in question is behind me 😀
Well, a bit deserted in here, maybe MXT has snitched on someone as revenge for the attempted mass murder in Gävle?
The Vikings went on for generations until some leader managed to change the rules.
Many Russian luxury yachts have been spotted in the waters off Turkey in the Mediterranean.
A bit curious about that
Tell me more
Every 5-6 was lying in the same area together with Putin’s luxury yacht that left what, 1-2 weeks ago and passed by Denmark?
Surely it can’t be a vacation, I think?
But what 😄
First, I interpreted your post as if these luxury yachts had met in a “battle”…. but instead, they had a little meeting on the blue waves….. Wonder what was on the agenda…
Aha, I also misunderstood and thought they had sunk the luxury yachts.
Aha now I understand 😀
the word träffats meant met and definitely a poor choice of words 🤣🤣
Fate from my early morning side, have been hammering F5 to see if I got shadowbanned, nice to be allowed to stay. 😉
Yesterday it was close 🧐
I understood that from the cold sweat and the pressing of F5 🙂
🤣🤣👍
O.T.
Looks like Iran has attacked Aramco’s largest refinery using Houthis.
How much crap can Iran throw before the neighbors bite back?
The USA is already participating as far as I have heard, but more are probably starting to get tired?
I’m almost starting to hope for it. Low-affect response doesn’t seem to work against Iran. On the other hand, escalating violence doesn’t seem to work either, so it’s a tough nut to crack.
Hmmm… in a slightly demented mind, nut and crack might perhaps trigger impulses to get to the core of why not nuclear weapons.
Yep, the USA totally missed a good opportunity. Why is unclear to me.
I think the USA is starting to get nervous now about all sorts of things. Domestic opinion, midterm elections, economy, and forever war.
Completely their own fault
Neither the Israelis nor the Arab countries are likely to be satisfied with the US handling.
As time goes by, a large part of the world will grow tired, both of Iran and of Trump/USA.
If Iran starts bombing oil installations throughout the Middle East, it will become a problem for the whole world (except Russia).
Wonder how Trump will react if the Chinese navy, together with India and Europe, comes there to ensure that the oil continues to flow from the Middle East.
Russia wants to send 30,000 North Korean soldiers to participate in the war, says Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky according to Reuters.
According to Zelensky, Russia is already preparing to receive the soldiers.
North Korea sent about 14,000 soldiers to fight alongside Russia in Kursk in 2024. According to reports, North Korea has sent equipment, soldiers, and workers to Russia.

30,000 of 1.3 million active North Korean soldiers, that is 2%. In practice, it should make no difference for Russia or North Korea? Why is this happening? What does North Korea get in payment? They already have the nuclear technology they need, it must be something else that attracts them.
War experiences?
They take over surveillance at the northern front so RU can free up two army corps for the Baltics 😀
