Ukrainian drones attacked a Russian university in Belgorod, Belgorod State Technological University (BSTU), which according to Kyiv Independent develops drone control systems. The attack led to a fire that destroyed one of the buildings. The facility reportedly housed the development and testing of an automated drone control system based on the Russian-made microprocessor “Milandr”.
Ukraine also attacked a logistics center for Wildberries in the Vladimir region. The facility covers 175,000 square meters as well as several locations in Crimea, and traffic over the Kerch Bridge was temporarily closed. Read more at Kyiv Independent.

** Russian foreign affairs ministry finally commented regarding the explosion at the Balzi Rossi restaurant in Moscow where Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Aerospace Forces Chaiko might have been celebrating his birthday on Saturday.
They came up with an idea that this was “an act of terror” to scare the Italians living in Russia (the chef of the restaurant is Italian, as well as his team, according to them). Russian media and “Z-bloggers” continue suggesting that a Russian general was celebrating at the restaurant that night.
According to their calculations, the celebration could cost about 9 million rubles. It’s possible that Chayko was celebrating both his birthday and his appointment as Commander-in-Chief that day. **

Off-Topic, Kina

“Iran is expected to rely on the global economy to win the war against the USA, writes Reuters. Sources that the news agency has spoken with state that Iranian leaders believe Donald Trump will eventually back down. At least if he is pressured enough.
Michael Knights at the think tank The Washington Institute agrees that Iran has an advantage, given how the war has developed.
– Since the beginning, Iran has escalated pressure on the USA by shifting perspective: a new geography, a new kind of weapon, a new target, he says.
To achieve this, the Iranian regime has recently also exploited the vulnerability of neighboring countries and the global economy.
– Both sides have so far met escalation with escalation, says former advisor Ray Takeyh, who however warns that such a tactic can easily go wrong.”
https://omni.se/kallor-den-iranska-metoden-som-ska-fa-usa-pa-fall/a/gkJnok
Trump tries to appear strong, but in reality he is weak.
It is not possible to bomb Iran into submission, the US missed the opportunity for regime change and now the mullah regime has tightened its grip. The US will have to hold back on bombing to avoid depleting its supplies, and a ground invasion would mean many American deaths.
All Trump can do is Threaten, Bomb, Boast about a new peace agreement, threaten again, bomb, and so on. Anything else will lead to even more resistance at home. He wants to back out, but lacks an exit strategy, just like his mentor in the Kremlin.
His so-called peace negotiators seem to agree to most things; they are probably as fact-resistant and historically ignorant as their master.
Iran can continue to provoke the US into more bombings, and then keep Hormuz closed until the US backs down, making it look like it is the US causing the Germans to freeze and the Indians to sit in darkness this winter. At the same time, oil and gas prices are kept high so that Russia can continue its war a little longer, and Germany wants to resume Russian gas supplies again.
Yes, and then we also have the paradox that as long as the US is at odds with Iran, American oil producers rake in the big bucks… So not everything about the war is negative for Trump. It may even be that Trump hoped to take control over Hormuz to be able to control the oil price to his advantage, it went so easily in Venezuela, but since he distrusts everyone who thinks they have more knowledge than himself, he did not know what he was getting into.
The new proverb: “You shouldn’t shout hooray before you’ve passed through the Strait of Hormuz!”

Yes, Trump’s unpredictability is not so unpredictable anymore. It has become increasingly easier to calculate his next move and conclude that the guy is fairly uncreatively predictable.

Something for all the Russian bastards to think about. Don’t go on vacation to an occupied war zone!
Of course, you can’t trust a word from the shithole country in the east.
Their criminal military almost certainly used the facility as a barracks.
“Six people have been killed and at least 40 injured in a Ukrainian drone attack on a Russian holiday village on the Black Sea coast, according to the region’s governor, cited by AFP. Three of the dead are said to have been children.
Another four people were killed in a separate attack on Russian-occupied Crimea.
Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense states that the military hit several Russian military targets overnight, including a ‘logistics and communications hub’ in Crimea and a fuel depot in Belgorod. This was reported by the BBC.
In Ukraine, three people were killed in a Russian attack on President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s hometown Kryvyi Rih during the day.”
https://omni.se/a/16rJ6l
Their air defense simply has to stop shooting down drones as part of protecting the civilian population!
It will probably never happen that they start protecting the civilian population. But hopefully, the air defense on Crimea will soon be completely decimated.
Maybe the drone came in low and then the anti-aircraft gun fired from a higher position down towards the beach.
Wouldn’t surprise me at all.

wsocial.eu does not seem to work.
I have applied for access 10 times but only get the response that they will contact me.
I wonder in which year they will do that.
It took me barely two weeks. I guess they want to scale up a bit slowly so they don’t run into performance issues (or end up with sky-high server costs).
Aha. Thanks for the reply. Maybe it wasn’t “just me” who was the problem.
It only took me a week.
I suppose the longer time is due to the increasing number of registrations which take time to verify.
It is something I appreciate, that you have to prove you are a physically identifiable person. First Twitter and now most recently BlueSky are completely overwhelmed by troll accounts.

Yes, that’s how it is, and the cash they need for those components they get from us through our LNG and oil purchases of original products from Russia.

Bon voyage
So Iran…
I don’t want to start with a full tin foil hat theory, but if you first bomb, lure citizens out onto the streets for a revolution, and then immediately let in tens of thousands of Shia militias from surrounding countries, you’ve already lost the initiative there.
Israel was completely crazy about that, and we don’t hear from that Pasha anymore.
Then you provoke Iran to start bombing the entire MENA region by first targeting their oil infrastructure – everyone in the whole world knows you don’t win a war quickly that way.
There are a few alternatives here,
– Trump is just stupid.
– Trump is playing a game he agreed on with China-Russia.
– Trump was persuaded by China-Russia after they got started.
Since Israel has pushed like weasels for a revolution, the real question is what is he up to?
If he were just stupid, he would have done what Israel wanted; the whole US is supposed to be bought off by them.
—
Maybe another alternative, by the way, was that the Kurds would be the ground troops but they didn’t want to.
The reason was that the US threw them under the bus in Syria two months earlier.
Is there reason to believe the whole plan depended on the Kurds?
No, that doesn’t explain why they let in tens of thousands of Shia militias, they came on charter planes and landed in Tehran in a streamlined fashion.
😂
