Ukrainian drones attacked the steel industry “Hydrostalkonstruktsiya” in Tchekhov, Moscow region. The Moscow governor confirmed the attack but stated that the fire that broke out was due to tires catching fire because of debris from the drones.
A third-party logistics warehouse used by several Russian companies in the village of Koledino, just 20 kilometers south of Moscow, was also set on fire during the night’s attacks according to the Telegram channel Supernova Plus.
A transformer station in the occupied city of Feodosia in southeastern Crimea was attacked by Ukrainian drones, leading to extensive power outages.

Ukraine is trying, among other things, to gain the US’s support against Russia by providing evidence that Russia supports Iran in various ways. Trump is not going to fall for that trick, no, he will ask Putin how things really are. It is so astonishingly stupid that it is almost hard to believe. A slightly lower number of battles but still a high number of KAB. We also do not see any direct decline in suicide drones, which I had hoped would be the result of the destroyed Wildberries facilities. Maybe they were not a decisive supplier of drones and drone parts, or it is too early if the frontline drone stocks have not yet run out.

        Unfortunately, that is how the system works. The same thing here, if X sets a budget, Y does not have to use the money. We saw that during the last government.

        I can only agree.
        I have basically supported the GOP in American politics all along, even though I probably think that Clinton ran a successful administration, but never the current president, neither this nor the last term.
        Unfortunately, their current politicians are terrified of Krasnov’s party whip and pure button pushers.
        Now I sincerely hope that the DMC gets its own majority in both chambers in the midterm elections this fall AND that they later produce moderate representatives. Both parties have moved more and more towards the extremes. Fueled by malicious forces. If this continues, it will likely be a good breeding ground for a new party. Even though the electoral system hardly favors new players.

    What we seem to be missing is that Russian tech companies are extremely indebted.
    Among others Wildberry and Yandex.
    We’re talking about several billion dollars here.
    How it’s set up for companies in the military industry, I don’t really know.
    But I guess they also have high debts.
    It’s typical for companies that have been forced to quickly scale up their operations.

    Anyway, do you think they can pay off their debts if their operations are bombed to pieces?

    I think we should see every attack on Wildberry and other companies also as an attack on Russian banks.

      Yes, you are absolutely right!

      Besides the enormous costs it directly entails for those companies and, of course, also for insurance companies and banks that are affected, there are also many other companies that use them for dropshipping that lose money.

      Those companies do not seem to receive any compensation worth mentioning; many may be forced to shut down their operations, and even if it is not about billions in debts, there are certainly many there who cannot pay their loans if their entire inventory has gone up in smoke. 

      Private individuals will also lose money for things they ordered but did not receive.

      Then the question is whether it will also have ripple effects for the warehouses that actually have not been bombed. Many are probably thinking twice about whether they actually dare to use them for their goods.

      The economic negative consequences are definitely the main gain from the attacks.

      Any shortage of suicide drones is, of course, only a small part of it, but I would have liked to see that decrease.

      It will not decide the war in the same way as a crashed economy, but it would probably save many Ukrainian soldiers’ (and also civilians’) lives and perhaps also create opportunities to push the Russians back.
